Last night, Hardwell played yet another inimitable set that took a frenzied Tomorrowland audience on a ride of a lifetime, and it is now available for viewing exclusively on his YouTube channel. Opening his performance with his new record, "Jumper" with W&W, due out on August 5th, he immediately let it be known that something special was upon the valley that was adorned with fan-made Hardwell flags from front to back. With highlights including a load of other unreleased Revealed Recordings tracks including Kill The Buzz' 'Shake' due for release this monday, a stunning mashup of Avicii's "Wake Me Up" that had everyone singing in harmony, a crowd-wide sit down, and heavy rain in the last 10 minutes, his set was the most explosive of the night with Millions of live listeners around the world experiencing yet another landmark Hardwell set. His tracks 'Spaceman', 'Apollo', 'How We Do' and his latest single 'Never Say Goodbye' went trending on Twitter while playing. Last years liveset of Hardwell on Tomorrowland gained over 18 millions views on youtube so with this adding a high in demand follow up. Hardwell strives to push the limit of what's possible, and he consistently delivers with remarkable output time and time again.

Live played dub techno session with using an Yamaha MT100, Korg Volca Beats, Korg Volca Keys, Behringer DDM 4000 and a TC Electronic M300 effect unit with an additional overdrive stomper. 
Also used a BCR2000 MIDI controller for track fade-ins/outs of the Volca Beats. 

I recorded 4 tracks on the Yamaha MT100, 3 with musical loops and one with the CV click track. The click track is routed to the headphone out and goes straight in the volcas (I use the headphone out to control the volume of the signal cause this is important for the right CV synchronization - you hear around 2:40 that the Volca Beats loses sync and I had to increase the volume of the CV click track).
Also the MT100 is connected to the TC Electronic M300 effect unit as an send effect, before the input of the effect unit I put a really cheap overdrive guitar effect, I like the sound of this combination allot and it gives you some live "coloring" control of the delay which is great for dub techno live improvisations.

Live played dub techno session with using a Korg Volca Beats synced to a Patchblock and a Behringer DDM 4000. The bass line, dub chords and the wonderfull evolving delay on the dub chords are coming from the Patchblock. Beats are made with the Volca Beats with additionla effects from the DDM 4000. Also used a BCR2000 MIDI controller for track fade-ins/outs of the Volca Beats.

Patchblocks are programable synthesizer/audio processors via a visual modular software for Mac and PC. Bought this cause I want to do some filter/FX, additional sounds and clock dividing stuff for the Korg Volcas. Managed to get a stable sync connection to the Volcas so far.

Here are some Impressions of these little boxes:
There have a 10bit 20KHz audio processing which is lofi and has hearable dithering noises especially on low audio levels. On external processing it depends on how you like the coloring of the sound, I like it on delays but not so much on filters. When you build own synths with the software I like the sound more. But what is great are the possibilities you have with it, you can build synth, drums, FXs, CV processing tools, sequencers and many other things. I'm quiet happy with the Dub Techno sounds I get out of it. Any other Patchblock users here done some stuff in combination with the Korg Volcas?

Live played Dub Techno Session using a Korg Volca Beats MIDI synced to Yamaha RS7000. All hooked up to a Behringer RX1204FX rack mixer, for Send FX using a TC Electronic M300 effect unit with an additional overdrive stomper to get some distorted texture in the Dub delays.

Also used a BCR2000 MIDI controller for track fade-ins/outs of the RS7000 and controlling volumes of the Korg Volca Beats tracks.

The beats are done with the Korg Volca Beats with some additional hihats coming from the RS7000. On the Yamaha RS7000 there running some loop samples build with http://www.audiotool.com/ cause I needed some TB303 emulation, for the orchestra sound I sampled from https://musopen.org/, a very cool platform for license free orchestra recordings.

Live played session using an Korg electribe sampler, a Korg Volca Beats and a Volca Keys. The electribe sampler is used to sequence the Volca Bass via MIDI. The Volca Beats is used for the drums and is synced via click to the electribe sampler, which also is running some drum loops. The electribe sample genrates some chords sounds. And there is a mp3-player using the audio-in of the electribe with the sample from the beginning and an endless pad sound.

All gears are connected to a Behringer DDM 4000 Mixer which ads some delay effects. And last but not least the Volca Beats runs thru a Nux Time Core Delay effect unit.

Also used a MIDI controller for part volumes of the the Korg Volca Sample and of the Korg electribe sampler.
