Formed in 2009, Clubsonica are the collaboration of Russian DJs and producers – Vladimir Polekhov and Yaroslav Eshempaev. Together they deliver groundbreaking dark, intense and uplifting break beats. A hypnic jerk, hypnagogic jerk, sleep start, or night start, is an involuntary twitch which occurs during hypnagogia, just as a person is beginning to fall asleep, often causing them to awaken suddenly for a moment. Physically, hypnic jerks resemble the "jump" experienced by a person when startled, often accompanied by a falling sensation. A higher occurrence is reported in people with irregular sleep schedules.

Carlos Silva A.K.A SoulRock was Born and raised in Chicago Illinois, music was always a part of
Soulrock’s life. From an early age he dreamed of creating and
performing music leave its own mark on an already crowded industry. He
grew up listening to rock, jazz, pop, and electronic, but found
himself most inspired by R&B and hip hop. Artists such as Donnell
Jones, Jay-Z,Tupac,Eminem, Pharrel,Sade and Daft Punk would lay the groundwork for
what would influence his sound, but the melting pot of sounds and
cultures that would influence him was far from complete.

Although Soulrock grew up watching Japanese animation, he didn’t start
listening to Japanese music until he was a teenager, when a friend
gave him a CD of songs from various Japanese artists. Whereas many
people would be put off by music in a language they can’t understand,
Soulrock became inspired by the plethora of sounds that Japan had to
offer. He became inspired by such artists as m-flo, DABO, Ryuichi
Sakamoto, DJ Hasebe, and Nujabes. The ideas that came from these
influences would shape Soulrock’s sound into something that went
beyond the typical sounds of hip hop, creating a unique sound all his
own.
