Member of the collective Unknown Medellín and one of the owners of the label Discos Hechizos. Aesthetic and raw music turned into a dance cult.

TDD - Dubine Podcast #031

Niccolo Nightingale (Neud Photo) is an electronic artist from NYC. 2020 has been a prolific year for Niccolo with his own sole release on the formidable Soil Records and tracks on different VA albums of labels such as DK Records, Dionysian Mysteries and Les Yeux Orange. Neud Photos style is that of raw, bare-back style of electronics, often swooning vocals, alluring repetition of rhythms and layered elements that bring a seductive sensuality to the music.

In 2019 Davide Pestillo and Claudio Cuccovillo started a collaboration called ‘Bianco Negativo’. Owners of Marguerite Records and Tocca il Futuro, they already accomplished the support of great artists like Reka, Intergalactic Gary, Alessandro Adriani, Pasiphae, and many more. With their show on Rinse France they have been able to show their passion for the New Beat, Industrial, Post Punk and Synth-Pop music ranging from the 70s until today and they hosted special guests like Josh Cheon, Borusiade, Robert Bergman, Violet Poison and others.

Vanja Rakić is a product designer/visual artist from Banja Luka, currently based in Amsterdam. Living in Belgrade, Milan and now Amsterdam, led to frequently attending gatherings at places such as 20/44, Drugstore, Buka, Cox 18, working weekends in Garage Noord, all of which have left strong and diverse marks on his musical appetite. Interested in experimental, new wave, punk, acid, IDM, soundtrack, to name a few, with his sets Vanja takes the listener to a place of uncertainty, promising to surprise and to tickle curiosity.

MIJU is a young DJ from Serbia, currently residing in Vilnius, Lithuania. MIJU guides her musical direction by seamlessly blending in fractions of breakbeat, electro, house, and acid, accompanied by melodic and minimal undertones. What distinguishes her selection is her determination to create unexpected twists and turns which resonate between the boundaries of old and new. 
MIJU’s been DJing for the past 2 years and already managed to become a new resident at one of the best clubs in North-East Europe - Opium club based in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius.
MIJU recently started bi-monthly shows on Radio Vilnius and had her live radio show at Amsterdam's famous vinyl shop Mary Go Wild.

Dubine 011 w/ Angel

Tokom razgovora sa Marijanom dolazim do saznanja da smo sugradjani, rodom iz istog, malog mesta na severu Srbije, i da smo sticali prva muzička iskustva undergrounda baš u periodu kada je domaća scena počela da se gradi na stubovima uticaja pograničnih država stare Jugoslavije, upravo sa severa. Prateći njen rad poslednjih meseci zaključujem da su njen sofisticirani muzički ukus i selekcija mikseva raznolika mešavina žanrova širokog spektra ali uvek unikatna. Ubrzo postaje jedan od mojih omiljenih DJ-va i posebna mi je čast imati dragulj poput nje na svome kanalu.
Marijana je trenutno bazirana u Kelnu u Nemačkoj, rezident je Salon des Amateurs i Acephale, lepša polovina The Croon dvojca i host radio emisije Deflections na Retreat Radiju.
Marijana nam šalje miks širokog spektra žanrova, od EBM-a, preko leftfielda i etno zvuka do zaboravljenih dijamanata dance floora, zbog čega postaje moj trenutni favorit.

During a conversation with Marijana I found out that we are fellow citizens, born in the same small town in the north of Serbia, and that we have acquired our first underground musical experiences in the period when the domestic scene was starting to build itself on the pillars of influence coming from the neighboring countries of old Yugoslavia, precisely from the north. Following her work in the past few months I came to a conclusion that her sophisticated taste in music and mix selection are a diverse mixture of wide spectrum of genres, but always unique. She has quickly become one of my favorite DJs and it is a great honor to have a jewel such as her on my channel. 
Marijana is currently based in Cologne, Germany, she is a resident of Salon des Amateurs and Acephale, better half of The Croon duo and host of the radio show Deflections on Retreat Radio.
Marijana sends us a mix of a wide spectrum of genres, from EBM, through leftfield and ethno sound to the forgotten diamonds of dance floor, which makes it my current favorite.

Pako Vega was born in Ceuta, the home of Calypso in the ancient Ogigia.

He's a curious mind, a fervent record collector, radio host and DJ for Edinburgh's community EH-FM where he's been running Sounds Of Ogigia since 2018. A monthly extravaganza for tormented souls.

In 2020 he founded the label of the same name, which focuses on evocative and ritualistic music leaning on the Greek gnosis.
In 2021 Pako started a residency at Sneaky Pete's (Edinburgh) where he curates "Aquelarre" a night spanning all sorts of experimental club sounds.

As opposed to established functional dance music Pako Vega aims for a more transcendental and explorative approach as a dj. His sets, although hard to define, are nothing short of psychedelic; anything from slow burned wonky beats, trippy avant-garde and trance inducing grooves to abrassive leftfield, heavy electro and intense minimal synths.


Pako Vega je rodjen u Ceuti, u domu Kalipso u drevnoj Ogigiji.

Radoznao je um, strasan kolekcionar ploča, radio host i DJ za edinburšku zajednicu EH-FM gde vodi Sounds of Ogigia od 2018. Mesečna ekstravaganca za mučene duše.

2020. osnovao je etiketu istog imena koja se fokusira na evokativnu i ritualističnu muziku, naginjući na grčku gnozu.
2021. Pako je začeo rezidenciju u Sneaky Pete's (Edinburg) gde kurira "Aquelarre", veče koje se raspinje preko svih vrsta eksperimentalnog klupskog zvuka.

Suprotstavljen uspostavljenoj funkcionalnoj dance muzici Pako cilja više na transcedentalni i istražiteljski pristup kao DJ. Njegovi setovi, iako ih je teško definisati, nisu uskraćeni psihodelije, svega od sporih čudnih ritmova, tripi avangardnog i trance gruva, te abrazivnog leftfielda, teškog elektra i intenzivnih minimalnih sintova.

Mysterious character under the alias Vitanov is a member of @beyond-house and @yesbelgrade crew, and a resident in @drugstorebeograd and @klub2044.  His sets are a mixture of techno, industrial, house and dark vocals. In our inland scene Vitanov is one of my three favorites, and his style and music selection make him one of the most sophisticated DJs in Belgrade. Enjoy

Maja je član bRave ekipe, zajedno sa Le Chocolate Noirom i Ikonalom. Iako vazi za relativno mlado lice klubske scene, Maja brzo postaje sve popularniji i omiljeniji DJ u krugu ljubitelja muzike koji svoja interesovanja vezuju za ne-stereotipnu klubsku muziku današnjice. Njeni setovi su energični i puni iznenadjenja, ponekad eklektični i variraju izmedju techna, EBMa, acida, avangarde i različitih eksperimenata.
Set koji sledi je malo drugačiji nego što se od nje obično očekuje, a to ga čini posebnim.

Chorbika is Jelena Stankovic, a Belgrade based DJ, live performer and party promoter. With the newly started label Chorbika Records she has recently released their first EP entitled Ti i ja (You and I). Being very active within the local scene both as a DJ, performer and as a promoter, booking some of the hottest names and labels, Chorbika is boosting in a new and distinctive vibe. She was the first one to book the marvelous Red Axes, Simple Symmetry, Zombies in Miami, Marvin & Guy, Tyree Cooper, Jacques...to name but a few.
Chorbika is the name who plays in Belgrade's most popular electronic clubs like Drugstore, 20/44... She is the resident of Belgrade Cultural Center - Kc Grad. Recently, you could hear one of hers interesting live performance with MKDSL, as a pre-group of the Icelandic band Gus Gus.

Ona je slektor u usponu, situirana je u Bukureštu u Rumuniji i ima naklonost ka distorziranim, oštrim zvucima i haotičnim perkusijama. Ana takođe čini polovinu Intersections projekta, fokusiranog na promociju živih nastupa i održavanje njihovog mesečnog Noods Radio programa. Ovaj podkest je nastao kao mešavina tvrdih udaraca bubnjeva, koji sporo i balansirano sagorevaju sa etičkim elementima i povremenim kinematografskim atmosferama.

Ana Secheres has been using the moniker AnaSatana for all her musical endeavors for about two years
now.
She is an emerging selector, based in Bucharest, Romania, who has a passion for distorted, sharpededged sounds and chaotic percussion. Ana is also half of the Intersections project, focused on promoting
live acts and curating their monthly Noods Radio show.
This podcast was created as a mixture of hard-hitting drums, a slow burner balanced with ethic

Na sceni je dve decenije, i tokom godina je izdao 9 ploca i veliki broj digitalnih izdanja. Nastupao je skoro u svim državama ex Jugoslavije, Rusiji, Poljskoj, Grčkoj, Francuskoj, Belgiji, Holandiji, Turskoj, Nemačkoj td. Nedavno je zabeležen njegov nastup na Boiler Roomu koji je kratko posle objave i uklonjen sa interneta ali audio zapis postoji i koga zanima može da posluša. Sve u svemu čovek je zaista zaslužio da predstavi Srbiju na Boileru i nije bilo potrebe da se video uklanja. Mix koji sledi je verovatno inspirisan samim imenom ovog podcasta, dubok i ambijentalan uz mešavinu trens i etno zvukova. Uživajte.

Kompleks is a pseudonim of a Belgrade partisan Bojan Gajić, who is also known as Lule. Lule is widely recognized for his energetic performances and covers. He has been on the scene for two decades and throughout the years he released 9 vinyl records and a large number of digital releases. He has played in almost all the countries of ex Yugoslavia, Russia, Poland, Greece, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany and so on. Recently one of his shows was recorded on Boiler Room but it was removed shortly after it was uploaded, however audio recording exists and anyone interested can listen to it. Overall, the man really deserves to represent Serbia on Boiler and there was no need for the video to be removed. Mix that follows is probably inspired by the very name of this podcast (dubine - depths), deep and ambient, with a mixture of trance and ethno sounds. Enjoy.

MALA HERBA is a solo project of a sound artist and queer music activist Zosia Hołubowska. Based on traditional music, magic, & demonology of Eastern Europe, her performances are sonic rituals. Powerful, witchy vocals weaved into hypnotic beats, cold bass lines & romantic synthesizer melodies. The music draws from darkwave and minimal synth-wave, but sometimes the melody cracks, the voice becomes a magic spell and the song transforms into a noise soundscape.

@aysh3l is a young DJ based in Athens. Her selections are located somewhere between tribal beats, hypnotic melodies and industrial sounds. Her sets are mostly based on techno, through a constant exploration of dark and ethereal atmospheres, while also trying to bridge her metal music origins with electro and acid elements.
