Knife presenta Prophän, el proyecto de música electrónica en solitario de Othman Cherradi, con sede en Casablanca, Marruecos. Cherradi dirige el sello de techno experimental Rhadâb y es cofundador, junto con Nova Ouacheb, de Mindless, una serie de eventos en vivo, podcasts y transmisiones de radio.

Prophän reconoce un amplio espectro de inspiraciones musicales, que van desde el industrial y el post-punk hasta la innegable influencia de las prácticas y costumbres musicales locales que inducen al trance y que lo rodean en el norte de África.

Ha lanzado música en varios sellos, incluido Khemia Records con su álbum debut, así como un remix de la influyente banda indonesia Senyawa en Drowned By Locals, y una contribución a Clan Destine Records, por nombrar algunos.

Knife presents Prophän, the solo electronic music project of Othman Cherradi, based in Casablanca, Morocco. Cherradi runs the experimental techno label Rhadâb and is the co-founder, alongside Nova Ouacheb, of Mindless a series of live events, podcasts and radio broadcasts.

Prophän acknowledges a wide spectrum of musical inspirations, ranging from industrial and post-punk to the undeniable influence of local trance-inducing musical practices and customs that surround him in North Africa.

He has released music on several labels including Khemia Records with his debut album, as well as a remix for influential Indonesian band Senyawa on Drowned By Locals, and a contribution to Clan Destine Records to name a few.

2021 marks the 5th anniversary of Khemia and the 18th of Kaos, and it felt just like the right time to have a chat with their founder, Lee Adams and talk about the past and the future of his projects.
