At 13, Roslyn won the finals of Australian TV’s "New Faces", going on to sing under Tommy Tycho on the Tommy Leonetti Show.

From here, she moved into Sydney’s live rock’n’roll scene during its golden years. Fronting "This End Up", Roslyn strutted the boards at classic venues including South Sydney Leagues Club, Redfern RSL, Cabravale Diggers and Illawarra Catholic Club.  Always a singer in demand, she moved on to front a variety of other major live-venue bands including "The Fabulous Rhythm Cats", "Scattered Visions" and "Blondie and the Boppers".  

Now, pursuing her new exciting project, piano duo “French and Phillips”, Roslyn gets up close and personal with Alan French, providing her own distinctive interpretations of the great jazz standards and MOR classics including Ray Charles’s Hallelujah I Just Love Him So, Nina Simone’s My Baby Just Cares For Me and I Don’t How To Love Him from Jesus Christ Superstar.

Alan French’s credits include Keyboardist on Miss Saigon (Capitol Theatre, Sydney), Orchestral Arranger (Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra), Musical Director of cabarets including Nice Things Tonight (Tilbury Hotel, Woolloomooloo) and  Falling in Love (Only Breaks your Heart) (LaBoite Theatre, Brisbane) and Music Therapist for the Australian Red Cross Society. Currently he is working on his own independent release “No One Knows Why We’re Here”.
