I'm a DJ from Toronto i play classic dubstep sounds with a new school dark twist, I've had support from Zeds Dead, Peekaboo, Ternion Sound, N-Type, Rinse FM and more. I’ve been reviewed twice this year and predicted as one of the new ‘Dubstep artists to look out for 2023’ by some very cool music blogs EDMIdentity & Honey & Bass, and I have support from around the world growing! People enjoy the ddark sounds and let loose for a bit during my DJ sets. I never plan what I play, always read the crowds energy for the night, meditate on the bassweight.

There can be no doubt about it, when it comes to making speakers move, Leo Cap is something of a scientist; lurking around the Deep, Dark & Dangerous realms. Following a number of EPs and track features on DDD, ‘Underground Business’ is his debut full-length album. 11 slices of audio genius, the kind of tracks that make you question your very sanity when they drop.

Leo Cap’s style is well represented across this release, and as an album is the perfect showcase of his sound. One which is known for pushing the physical boundaries to which you can exert sound systems and speakers. Literally pushing insane amounts of air when these basslines drop.

The album tells the story of Leo Cap the artist, creating beautiful things only to destroy and break them. Not only is the music a parallel for his life, it is also a form of armour, pieces collected from here and there. A protection from a paranoid existence in the dark and murky underground.

This music is his kind of Undergound Business, “it’s really deep, it’s really dark and it’s really fucking dangerous man”. All the demons, all the darkness, and also all the fun. But there are no mistakes, this is how things are meant to be, life is is both dark and light, with music as it’s abstraction.

You can turn on the music and feel these things, this is real, this is Underground Business.

First, i want to apologize for for the lack of tunes that have been released this year so far. There has been a few changes to the project over the past year or so, and along with those, Ive been taking my time with writing my music to ensure more complete, and fuller sounding work! As well as, getting proper masters done for tunes that do get released. I was very happy to work with Leon Smith @ Subvertmastering again on this one! Check out my 3k ep for more reference to his work if your interested, i highly recommend his services. 

 With that said, I really hope you all enjoy this this new one! <3 I wanted to release something a little more upbeat and vibey for the dance floor this go around. I found these Flowdan vox. from a sample pack he released on "Loopcloud" for anyone wondering! I think it really tied the track together after putting them on! ... So big big ups to @bigflowdan for the royalty free vocals!
