Sculpting innovative, bass-driven sounds, Red Sky Noise merge raw
soul inspired vocals with a mixture of live and programmed beats and instrumentation to craft
something unmistakably vivid and current.

Formed by one half of Radio 1’s hotly tipped ‘Citizen’ - Red Sky Noise bound through a kaleidoscope
of influences and genres, assimilating contemporary bass music with elements of 90’s dance and
classic soul.

2012 saw Citizen win Radio 1’s prestigious, 'BBC Introducing' competition, a victory which
Inevitably lead to a surge of interest from the media. This resulted in interviews and live
performances on Radio 1, and bookings for a host of UK and European festivals, including Hideout,
Global Gathering, Isle of White Festival and Ibiza Rocks. The band were then recruited to perform as 
part of HMV’s nationwide festival showcasing up and coming talent from across the UK.

2013 saw the band armed with a new lead vocalist in the shape of Mica Millar and Red Sky Noise emerged from the studio and developed their genre-fusing sound to a level that has seen their new material being broadcast on radio within 24 hours of it being uploaded to the BBC Introducing website.

Since October they have been added to the roster of live agents Coalition Talent, as well as signing to
new Manchester independent record label MUK Records - also home to Mancunian label mates
MDNGHT. 

The bands debut single and club focused remix package entitled ‘Only You’ has been
scheduled for an early 2014 release on MUK with the radio promo already garnering instant BBC Radio
1Xtra support.

After the single was awarded Radio 1Xtra ‘introducing’ single of the week, the station followed up with a
week of national playlisting of the track, starting November 18th.

Immediate, vibrant, and fast becoming one of the city's most exciting new crossover acts, Red Sky
Noise are looking heaven-sent to light up the nation’s airwaves and dance-floors.
