About the release:

Deep Jungle finally makes its return from dormancy with the first in a series of vinyl releases that will be showcasing some of the 90's long lost treasures. This first release back sees two unreleased mid nineties gems from none other than the mighty Dillinja!! Both tracks are sourced from the original DAT tapes and they have been mastered by the grand master Simon @ The Exchange, a true mastering wizard and someone who has engineered some of the most respected releases to date.

The A side "Another Dimension", originally from 1994, shows us Dillinja's softer melodic side on the intro, before unleashing the Reese danger on the drop. This moody roller is perfect for those of you who have been craving some more of his 94 era productions, that really takes you on a journey straight back to that time...

We're back with the next release! This time, we bring you two more long lost treasures of the nineties, specifically from 1993. On this EP, we welcome the one and only Adam F back to the label, with an unreleased gem featured alongside a rare track which originally appeared on vinyl back in 93.

The AA side, “Rushin”, is a previously unreleased tune which was recently discovered on DAT. Despite being one of Adam's earliest tracks, "Rushin" features choice melodic pads, a hard hitting drop, and the type of the sharp production that jungle fans have come to expect from Mr F over the years.

"So when white producer DJ Hype samples a black orator who preaches ‘we must unite on the basis of what we have in common’, the common experience – inhabiting the same run-down tower-blocks and council estates, being harassed by the police, living for marijuana, breakbeats and b-b-b-bass – may be grim and impoverished, but it’s ‘real’. Even when they live in nowheresville suburbs like Hitchin and Romford rather than inner-city ghettos, junglists belong to a jilted generation who are bored and frustrated, and have little to live for but burning up dead time in a weekend’s worth of ‘jungle fever’. The true meaning of ‘junglist’ is defined not by race, but by class, in so far as all working-class urban youth are ‘niggas’ in the eyes of authority. Junglist youth constitute a kind of internal colony within the United Kingdom: a ghetto of labour surplus to the economy’s requirements, of potential criminals under surveillance and guilty-until-proven-innocent as far as the Law is concerned."
