Hi, my name is Fred, also known as Van:Hill and this is the longest introduction ever, but if you want to know... I am a resident DJ in Vienna known for my ability to select the perfect tune at the right time and get the crowd going wild. I absolutely love to surprise you guys with remixes or changes in music style that are short and sweet. I have been listening to Drum and Bass since I was 12 years old, thanks to my older brother who introduced me to this music genre and paved the way for me to explore this world.
I have been DJing since 2013 and started playing in clubs around 2015. Over the years, I have had the honor of playing in many cities across different countries, such as the Czech Republic (where I even became a resident of the N.Project crew from Ostrava - cheers, guys!) Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, and of course, my home country Austria, thanks to the wonderful friends I have made along the way.
My top five favorite clubs are Flex Vienna (the first club I ever played a set on my own and definitely the one in which I had most of my gigs), Crossclub Prague (you must go there, then you definitely will understand), Fabric Ostrava (sick sound, nice crew and if opened - they have the sickest backstage you’ll ever see in a club, I swear!), Marley Ostrava (back when N.Project was throwing their parties there), and Storm Club in Prague (as a D&B enthusiast you must definitely visit that club). My favorite events are my homebase The Hive at Flex Vienna, where I am also one of the resident local DJs, N.Project Ostrava, Imagination Prague, Contrast Vienna and of course, the mighty Let it Roll.
I love playing B2Bs, but it's important that the B2B buddy vibes with you, and that's not always the case. My favorite B2B buddies so far are Jalen Mess, Ception (I’m quite sure I played my heaviest sets with that sick dude!), AKOV (that B2B at my buddy BEESUs “No Problem Festival” at Beach Park Mlekojedy near Prague - dude I barely had so much fun playing B2B), Sven Sma (at Expo Praha, biggest hall I ever played in), my dear friend from far away Dotronix who is the only mostly Jump Up DJ I love playing with, BEESU (DUDE! come back, at least somewhere in Europe!!) and I’ve had some really sick gigs with my man Divenger. Those memories <3
My absolute favorite hobby is making you guys freak out to the tunes I personally love. Let's go mad and party hard together!
