My Man Nk Music and I present you 3 wonderful, jazzy, lofi and boom bap inspired instrumentals. The basic ideas arose from the topic ''Mental Health''. Due to the fact that almost every one of us has already had experience with it, for whatever reason, we were able to infuse a certain energy and love. Based on the title and the atmosphere, I think you can feel the vibe of the theme. I am proud of this project and collaboration.

We were allowed to release this ep under the great support of @steezyasfuck.

This track marks the second release from Boukas new series, titled “Inkel Stories.” It blends Boukas’ dreamy musical style with Antons’ playful keyboard melodies and Kristoffer Eikrems impressive trumpet performances. The composition encapsulates the sensation of a tranquil morning stroll toward a meaningful destination, set against a backdrop of radiant sunlight that fills one with hope. The piece evokes a blend of timeless charm reminiscent of 1950s New York combined with the contemporary vibe of Stockholm in 2023. Notably, the track has been recorded onto cassette, imparting a delightful vintage ambiance with the unique characteristic of analog equipment.

“Inkel Stories” represents Boukas’ latest series, deriving its name from his acquisition of new equipment, including a 4-track cassette deck and an Inkel mixer. The distinctive characteristics of this mixer, featuring an inherently gritty sound along with a built-in delay effect, are perceptible throughout the record, notably on elements like snare drums. Boukas consistently crafts music that mirrors life’s various scenarios, often leaning into a monochromatic musical palette that invites listeners to infuse their own colors, a sentiment mirrored in the album covers.

Photographed by Boukas using an Yashica FX-3 Delta 3000 film, the cover images encapsulate the locales and moments that kindled inspiration for the tracks. The synergy between the album’s visual aesthetics and its musical content is evident, both sharing a grainy authenticity. This analog cohesion extends to the auditory realm, as the music and visuals are intrinsically intertwined, fostering an overall concept of analog artistry.
