Raver at heart and a groove explorer by passion, Gustavo Hernandez, born and based in Chihuahua, Mexico, is a self-taught DJ and producer who has been performing at underground raves and local clubs since 2008.

The concept behind "Subthink" aims to evoke the mystical and introspective rituals that have existed since ancient times, where tribal humans paid tribute to existence. One of our most primitive practices.

In the beginning, his musical influences were primarily rooted in psychedelic trance, exploring sub-genres such as Twilight, Forest, Hi-tech, and Trance. Over time, he gradually evolved into Progressive trance, Progressive techno, and Minimal techno.

As he matured musically and refined his taste in electronic dance music, he discovered the Minimal/micro house and Deep tech scene, which is predominantly developed in Eastern Europe, and fell in love with it.

Influenced by this whole new culture, he evolved into a new musical storytelling framework, blending different genres he has been exploring over time.

SOUSEE is a NJ/NY-based DJ and producer blending deep house, minimal house, and warm jackin’ grooves into a smooth, hypnotic sound rooted in true underground culture.

Focused on long blends, warm basslines, and pure groove, SOUSEE delivers clean, mature sets built around feel—not hype. No big-drop theatrics, no overused FX… just deep, rolling house music for real heads.

In October 2025 he released his debut single “Day One” (Voltronix Records), now available on Beatport, Apple Music, Spotify, and all major platforms, marking the first step in defining the timeless SOUSEE sound.
