 I am probably what is classed as a late(ish) starter but have realised that it works in my favour as I have a love of underground music that started at the age of 13 so I pride myself on having an ear for all tunes that are of epic proportions.
Was loving old skool rave when I was far too young to get amongst the live vibes for real, have loved bassline for many years and am now submerging myself and experimenting with all things dubby/bassy/electronic/distorted.
I don't know what will come of this ..... the opportunity to take my love of music to a higher and more intense level is the one ....... anything else is a Brucie Bonus....altogether now....good game good game.  Oh yeah, my sets also available as podcasts on iTunes :)
Ultimately I'm aiming for versatilty, treating each set as a journey meandering through various genres and subgenres, all transitions to be fluid. I've still got lots to learn and am nowhere near the level of competence I want to be at. I am my own hardest critic - as a plus I guess at least I'll never be complacent and will keep pushing myself further!!

Hi im "Dark Emotion"aka "Digital Justice" aka "DUBST8". also the owner of Vinyl Related Records / DivisionBass Digital. My real name is Kristian Smith and I was born in northern ireland in the late 70s. I grew up in germany in the 80s but then moved back to the uk (Bristol) in the very late 80s. I started DJing Hardcore &amp; Jungle in the early 90s. In 1995 I setup an online dance magazine called Katch the Vibe. In 1997 I started producing Drum &amp; Bass,Garage and all types of House music. 1997 to 2004 I setup club nights called DigThis! in Bristol &amp; Falmouth.I now produce Dubstep,Drum &amp; Bass,Garage and all types of House music. I currently have a few Albums released and single tracks on Vinyl Related Records, Digital Lab Records and DivisionBass Digital. "Dark Emotion" is a new project I'm working on where I use piano and orchestral scores blending in deep dark wobble bass with the beats of dubstep, dubhop, Break Beats and some Dark FX for that little somthing.
