dolls can't is an alternative rock band, which sculpts organic, visceral works. Its mechanics opens the doors of a surrealistic and familiar universe at the same time. You can meet psychedelic characters dressed with poetry in it. These stringless puppets draw space without boundaries while revendicating influences from tool, Radiohead and The Mars Volta. Here, songs are experienced through the five senses.

dolls can't est un quatuor de rock alternatif qui sculpte une œuvre viscérale.  La découvrir, c'est entrer dans un monde psychédélique et sans frontières dans lequel chantent et dansent des personnages habillés de poésie.
Pierre-Yves Ponsin affirme patiemment les chansons de dolls can't depuis son passage à la Music Academy International. C'est à Strasbourg qu'il forme le groupe avec Hervé Andrione, Vincent Sexauer et Louis Ernst, alors étudiants au Conservatoire.
Les quatre musiciens modèlent les pièces, les assemblent et présentent très vite sur scène cette machine à l'énergie explosive.
En 2010, le groupe auto-produit beyond the eyelids, premier EP que dolls can't emmène sur les routes lors de tournées en France et à l'étranger, ainsi qu'à des festivals tels que le Printemps de Bourges ou le Gena Open Air.
L'album éponyme dolls can't sort en Mars 2013, ainsi que le clip Alice.
