For Avenue Red Podcast 126 we welcome Michael Sieler AKA M.S. from the super cool and quirky city of Portland, Oregon near the west coast of the USA. Michael is a very keen eclectic music collector and DJ whom we discovered via his awesome deep/dub techno selections on his SoundCloud page. It seems that he has elevated his game even higher than usual for this one... an absorbing, soothing, spaced-out 80-minute trip crafted exclusively for us lucky Avenue Red folks.

"A couple years ago, I was at the coast with some friends. After a late night of dancing and partying, I remember we all went to the beach (at the location seen in the artwork for this podcast) to watch the sun rise. You could hear the sound of the ocean, the calm waves splashing, and the trickle of the tide as it rolled in and out.

It was chilly but beautiful. The sounds of dub techno fit perfectly as the rising sun began to warm our bodies and wake us to the new day. This mix recaptures that moment, takes us back in time to that morning on the beach listening to some melodic dub techno." Michael Sieler, 2019

Michel ist DJ und Produzent aus Erfurt in Deutschland. Seit nun mehr als 20 Jahren ist er ein fester Bestandteil in der Thüringer Elektroszene. Seine Musik hat er über die Jahre immer weiter geformt und entwickelt. Anfangs noch Techno, geht sein Sound heute bis hin zum Dubtechno, Ambient und Lounge. Sein neues Projekt ist seine Podcastreihe unter dem Namen „WE ARE ONE“ – Musik verbindet. Michel möchte mit seinem Podcast verschiedene, talentierte Künstler aus der ganzen Welt zusammen bringen.
