Liuos first fell out of solution in the early 90´s, when the dream of a one-man band materialized as an Amiga 500. Various genres and outboard gear came and went, along the way to spare experimental techno. After restrictive hardware equipment came software synths and computer based sequencing, and a move into the possibilities in the developing genre of dub techno. The elegantly unfolding chords accompanied by infectious hooks and phrases, is a feature that is always refreshing and meditative in movement. Engulfed in lavish chords and ornate in emotive melodies Liuos production is distinctive and personalized.

X_FR — the sonic identity of Alexander Kotlov, a sound producer and DJ from Novosibirsk, the beating heart of Siberia. As a co-founder and visionary of the label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Alexander is a pioneer of a unique musical movement that channels the spirit of his homeland. Born in 1983, he has journeyed from a passionate love for music to crafting an entire universe of sound — one that leaves no listener untouched. As one of the label's key ideologists, he shapes not only the sound but the very philosophy of contemporary dub techno. X_FR is, indeed, the architect of Siberian sound.

Under the moniker Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, in a creative alliance with his brother ENERCUBE (@enercube), Alexander weaves sonic tapestries where simplicity meets brilliance. Their tracks transport listeners to the soul of Siberian landscapes — rugged, majestic, yet profoundly meditative. The music of X_FR is a true alchemy of sound, where the shadows of basslines intertwine with the tenderness of melodies, and minimalism unfolds into boundless depth. Coming from Darkwave (198x), Acid-House (1988), Acid to Trance (1991-93) and to all kinds of deep deep electronic sound (1995 - NOW). wrote articles  for different east-german scene-mags in the nineties and was one of the founders of channel.dd, the first east-german radio show on evosonic radio (some may remember - the first and last FM-technoradio in germany)
