Wicked Jungle Records and Okee take you on a deep jungle/D&B excursion with the forthcoming release 'Kobu / Yuyu', paying homage to the Golden Years of atmospheric jungle whilst adding contemporary liquid flavours. 'Kobu' delivers a hard-hitting flurry of rapid fire amen breaks expertly balanced with soaring, atmospheric pads and an infectious, undulating bassline straight out of '94. 'Yuyu' sees timestretched snares interweave with 2-step breaks and laid back, jazzy bass notes creating a perfect example of modern jungle funk. Okee's 'Kobu / Yuyu' delivers two very differing takes on the liquid, drum & bass style which are destined to become an essential addition to any forward thinking jungle/drum & bass set.
