Stepping up to the Edit Room this week we welcome back Sydney-based DJ and producer Myledo. With tracks out on labels such as Extra Spicy and Finespun Records, as well as an absolutely stacked collection of self releases, Myledo is quickly proving herself as one to watch. 

For this week's edit Myledo has put together a remix of Crystal Waters' timeless classic “Gypsy Woman”. Starting off as a UKG bop and transitioning into breaks, Myledo has put a new spin on a track which we thought we knew so well!

For our 25th premiere, it is our absolute pleasure to support Xander’s second self-release, DIGI002. Through his label, Over and Out, as well as his work with 128kbps, Xander has quickly become a GAB favourite with tracks spanning two-step, speedy G, breaks and 160 techno. 

DIGI002 does not disappoint featuring three ridiculously large edits. Kicking things off with “The Energy”, Xander flips a Baby D classic into a speed garage belter fitted with a disgustingly raw bassline. “Best Day Yet” offers up a soulful 2-step cut with sublime vocal chops. However, it was the EP’s final track “Ain’t Nobody (’94 Breaks Cut)” which stole our hearts. Xander’s reharmonisation of this Chaka Khan classic will leave you with tears in your eyes - it's an emotional one.

Nice & Deadly are very excited to announce that their 10th release is signed by Philo. Directly from Cologne, she proves you don't need decades of experience to understand and push boundaries of a genre. With national and international recognition, her originally vinyl-exclusive selection has evolved over time into a digital hybrid in the pursuit of the best possible sound. Characteristics of her selection involve rough UK bass, which is somewhere between breakbeat, deep amen atmospheric drum & bass, halftime dubby bassbin jungle and footwork with a splash of classic 90s, as well as house influences according to the maxim "keep moving forward"!

Not long ago she started producing and released her first tune "Zooma Patrol" in cooperation with Moogie Fox on the Berlin label Headlight Records. Since 2020, she's part of Deegree Recordings. And in 2021, together with Marie Montexier and Aino DJ, she founded the event series Précey, which focuses on female and non-binary artists to push the scene in Cologne. She also hosts her radio show on jungletrain.net.

And now, she joins the Nice & Deadly Brazilian family with an incredible EP, including a collab with Moogie Fox and an exciting remix from Static Structures.
