Dudbridge Garage International co-founder LeftLeft returns with his second solo release on the label, with three new genre-dodging tracks bridging the gap between melodic and minimalistic club music.

Taking in influences from garage, techno, and bass-heavy UK club music, LeftLeft’s music sees swung, rolling percussion play off metallic synths and manipulated vocals, and on DGBI005 his sound has evolved further, experimenting with more melodic elements and different tempos to his previous releases.

Opener ‘First Word’ boasts a classic LeftLeft style beat, with sub-heavy kicks leading the charge, while a playful melody weaves in and out, and squelches and squeaks litter the track giving an uncanny, esoteric feel.

Next up is ‘Legging’, which is propelled along by sliding chords playing call-and-response with textured, pitched vocals.

Closing track ‘Zooki’s Return’ sees LeftLeft exploring new musical territory, with an altogether more laidback track influenced by trap and alternative R&B. It’s an unexpected end to the release, but one that shows LeftLeft’s plethora of influences and production skills.

Co-head honcho of the universally acclaimed Dudbridge Garage is back with a bang.

His newest offering contains three fresh slabs of pure dancefloor madness.

'Let U Forget' draws from the inimitable sound design that Chungo has been so widely known for over the years, skillfully drawing out manipulated vocals into panned chords atop a dangerously weighty bassline with a whole world of modulations.

'The Vendor' executes razor sharply mixed, new-school garage drums with the vocal chops to boot; an instant classic.

Closing out the three-tracker is 'Zero Day', a sublime and smooth drum-based cruiser, epitomising Chungo's idiosyncratic style to an absolute tee. Essential!

The flames burned bright; shades of auburn, gold and orange searing into her eyes. She couldn't tear her eyes away from it: there was something about fire that enraptured her. It was as though she could see something within it that guided her path, that showed her things she couldn't normally see. For her it had healing powers beyond the physical and the tangible. 

Dudbridge Garage, the world's local garage, is opening its doors once again for another instalment from label co-founder Chungo. From end to end the street was filled with all your wants and needs. You could get practically anything and everything here: sweet spices in beautiful packages; well-loved clothes; hordes of bric-a-brac; dusty vinyl and tapes; hot homemade dishes from all over the world. Each vendor had their own specialty or expertise; nobody stepped on anybody's toes, there was no sense of competition. They were one huge family who looked out for one another.

Dudbridge Garage International return for their last release of the year courtesy of their own co-head Chungo. Alongside fellow label boss LeftLeft, the Lisbon-based artist has moulded the label into a platform for expertly produced UK bass and garage - you'll know a Dudbridge release when you hear it. On the sixth release Chungo draws on these sounds in his own singular way. Over the course of three tracks he showcases his precision at sound design, matching signature chopped and screwed vocals with heavy bass lines and crisp, swung drum patterns.

Dudbridge Garage International label co-head Chungo unveils a colossal dancefloor anthem with his Baile Funk infused single 'Solo Por Te'.
