The strong female vocal, by our singer Sam, delivers a catchy ear-worm melody supported by a chorus of harmonies. The track features bright finger-picked guitar which builds into a beautiful, sunny arrangement. Lyrically, the song explores themes of love and separation, referencing traditional folk motifs while also capturing our signature beautiful-yet-dark style and aesthetic. “This Side of the Border” would be a perfect fit for bright indie-folk and Americana playlists and radio stations.

Well, wanted to try if this original alt.rock version would transfer to metal. Super raw - done in 15 min. - just throwing things together to see how it feels. This is just exploring with the idea. Lyrics in FI the same as in the alternative rock version.  I have the other version on the tracks if you would like to check it out. But, I think this might come out OK if proceeded with.
