Beautiful! Made me imagine both of you standing on a stage with ribbon controllers in your hands and playing in front of a ribbon orchestra...

the piece is a two track stereo recording from two live played make noise mysteron modules played with two doepfer a-198 ribbon controllers. regenbot played the deeper one processed thru quantimator, echophon and erbeverb. anarchy4bits played the second melodic,  processed thru uscale, phonogene and erbeverb. both tracks was recorded directly out of modular without cutting and external effect processing.

ribbon ensemble for 2 mysteron

duet mysteron is a electroacoustic minimal music project from regenbot and anarchy4bits
founded 2015 in finland and germany.
the project based on two make noise mysteron moduls, which we used as our only sound sources. one played in finland and the other one in germany. the ways to play that module are always different. our first experiences we done with doepfer ribbon controllers. for audio processing we use only modular synthesizers and stomp boxes.
