Coll stuff. If I were to change something I'd mess a bit the bell sound with some pitch bending and maybe some reverb to make the atmosphere a bit tenser in those sections.

pianos got a little too repetitive imo, still, its a great track!

CONCEPT:

This song has multiple layered themes and meanings.

One angle is about powering through misery and thoughts of harming oneself for the sake of your loved ones. It's about always holding on to that love that you hold so dear and using that to hoist yourself along the winding road of life. So in this sense, it's very much a love song, oddly enough.

The other angle on this is about the truly insane lengths that people go to for the sake of their social media ie people doing crazy things for TikTok or YouTubers doing mean-spirited or insane pranks that are way over the line for views. This theme will be explored more in depth in the forthcoming music video. Essentially, the idea is that an artist sets themselves on fire in public as a sick publicity stunt to get lots of views on social media platforms, but it goes wrong and they end up covered in severe burns and at death's door. The motif of "For You" is intentionally a play on TikTok's For You Page and the associated hashtag.
