do you hate me?
cause you would do anything-
to replace me,
i think you love me-
obsessive compulsively,
that’s why you’ve tried everything-
just to make me hate me,
so energetically embarrassing.

treat me like kerosene,
i challenge your ego effortlessly,
so poisoned by the mirror of me,
you can’t help but antagonize me.
try to prove I'm paraffin,
a poisonous, flammable substance,
baby, cry wolf, say you’re the victim,
try and make me play the villain.

baby you make no sense,
you call it self defense,
time and time again,
weaponize your pretense,
they fall for your innocence,
too young to see the trend,
too young to comprehend,
the truth of your intent.

she’s feeling so, so somber,
we watch you run when it gets darker,
oh, tell me, dear,
what is it you fear?

silently,
hide and you will seek.
naively,
you’ll never find me.

until it falls apart,
then quickly disappears.

show me your darkest art,
make my vision crystal clear.

with gifted eyes,
teach me how to fly,
in the dark, dark night.

truth- stay hidden, stay quiet,
even when the theater is silent;
it’s empty, it’s dark-
you’re alone, in private.
performing as vibrant,
remaining compliant,
dimming your brightness,
until it’s dark and lifeless,
so you swallow what’s righteous.

you force a smile, you lie like a child,
you thank them for their insistent denial.
you grind your teeth with bliss;
you trust the devil’s judgment-
the words of hope and justice;
the hypnotic mask of kindness-
it seems equal, it seems harmless.

stealth, silence, premeditate violence;
fiction or fact? performance or guidance?
crippling confusion, crippling compliance,
kind eyes, they’re harboring violence.
intuitive mind, it’s craving defiance.
it’s demanded to follow robotic guidance-
not truth of life, just pseudoscience.
drain my essence, drain my brightness-
force me to pretend to be lifeless.
dear certainty- let my soul remain timeless-
i only surrender to the unseen guidance.

fill that void,
be proper- be poise,
polyester- drown the noise,
hold it together- you can’t be destroyed.

it’s getting late,
but my mind’s still awake,
obsessive thoughts arise,
channel your dreams tonight,

victimized by my spellbind,

memories still clouded,
i saw too much before,
too much to endure,
not afraid of you anymore.

The world beyond your mortal eyes-
The only place I am tangibly alive.

Are you willing to offer your life?
