The rich tapestry of Chilean music is celebrated as Drumma Records turns 5 years old with the long awaited debut collaborative project between two special electronic music personalities from their home country, as Ricardo Villalobos and Umho known as Ricmho release ‘Melo de melo’. 
Villalobos and Umho have a friendship that spans over twenty years and Luis Ordenes AKA Umho has frequently played alongside Villalobos for his most important sets. The tracks were produced last winter in Berlin during their tour together and this is the first time the two of them will release together on their beloved vinyl format.
The bond that Ricardo and Umho share for Latin American music is evident in both tracks, these are rhythmic and textural microworlds combined with unrivalled syncopation and evocative melodies beholding fundamental traits of the Latin American continent's culture and integral elements of this duo's musical language.

Press Info: Forthcoming debut release on Offline Rec by Christopher Groove. “Secret Garden” itself is built largely from modular sounds,  vintage movie instrumentals and atmospheric samples atop an almost tribal drum beat. The Ricardo Villalobos remix infuses more sterile sound design elements into its own arrangement, which strikes the ear more softly than the source material.

In 2012 Frost and Einzelkind joined forces to release the Pressure. 
No tricks, no gimmicks. Just raw beats and basslines from the depths
 of Frankfurt and Offenbach. 
No bandwagon blues, no sounds-alike songs. Pressure Traxx does
 exactly what it says on the tin. 
More Pressure, more Traxx. 

If it takes only 7 days for the first two releases to completely sell out, It comes as little surprise that the label is causing a stir with all the usual suspects. Heavy club rotation from many A-list DJ's has only thrown more fuel on this blazing fire.

It all started one day in Heiko MSO's studio, where Frost and Einzelkind were casually listening to some old records. When the first few notes of "Flying Turns" came through the speakers, their ears pricked up. With the track still pumping from Heiko's speakers, the boys sent an SMS to the Chilean sound wizard, Ricardo Villalobos, letting him know they found something special. Inspiration set in, and riding a wave of creativity sparked by this hidden gem of a track, the boys turned out a revamped version for 2013. Villalobos never forgot that SMS and seemed equally inspired by the track which encouraged an approach to ask him for a remix. Well, he delivered not one, but two reworks. Could there have been a better way to complete this into a 4 track dream of an E.P.? We think not, and we're quite sure you'll agree.

BIO:
Adis Hotic (aka Duky) was born in Bosanski Novi, Bosnia & Hercegovina on January 19, 1989. He has been very passionate about music his whole life. Growing up in the 90's, Duky loved listening to Hip-Hop. Hearing drums, rhythms, basslines, and deep lyrics by artists like Wu-Tang, Mos Def, Nas, Gangstarr, and Mobb Deep greatly influenced Duky to start working on his own music. At age 13 he was introduced to Fruity Loops and then started working on his own hip-hop instrumentals.

As time passed, electronic music was exposed to him at a local music festival, DEMF, in Detroit, MI. Immediately  felling in love with it; started producing house music instead of hip-hop. Duky quickly gained respect and support with his remix of "Morning Cigarette" by major players in the game such as tINI, Enzo Siragusa, Chris Lattner, Richie Hawtin, and Marco Carola. Each track Duky produces is a reflection of his emotions at that specific point in his life along with great passion, joy, and fondness for music. His style consists of groovy basslines, hip-hop influenced rhythms and percussions, deep abstracts sounds, and a touch of swing. Duky devotes countless hours in the studio on each track he produces, believing that quality and self-satisfaction of each tune is much more important than the quantity of tracks released. 

In August 2011, Duky launched his own vinyl/digital label, Deep Tech Records, which has been successfully releasing some of the finest music available on today's market. The label includes releases by talented and prestigious artists like Miro Pajic, Randall M, Chad Andrew, Jun Akimoto, Ittetsu, Brett Jacobs, Butane, Someone Else, Loquace, Bodeler, Medeew & Chicks Luv Us, and various other highly respected musicians. Deep Tech Records has been climbing the top 100 charts on Beatport and many other respected online music stores, with almost every single release since the label has launched. Today Duky strives to maintain the high quality music on his label, gigs/shows, and most importantly his own productions.
