Federico “Freddie” Mejia’s Bio:

When Freddie was nine years old he started taking Flamenco dance lessons with his sister Dorothy from Jose Ramon in SF. Being rather shy about dancing, Freddie asked Jose, who also played Flamenco guitar in his classes, to teach him the guitar instead, and so began Freddie’s Flamenco guitar career. 

While still children, Freddie and Dorothy began to perform all around San Francisco. 

When Freddie was 17 he did a short stint in the air force and returned to San Francisco when he was 18, in 1959. After the air force Freddie and Dorothy continued lessons with Jose Ramon. Freddie resumed performing and he and Dorothy worked at La Bodega. Later, Freddie became one of the first performers at the Flamenco show at the Spaghetti (San Francisco) and was a regular there until it closed.
	
Freddie performed and taught Flamenco guitar throughout the Bay Area and was a legend in North Beach, where he usually lived. Freddie’s career took him to New York where he performed, taught and built and repaired guitars. He performed at all the Renaissance Faires in both Los Angeles and the Bay area, as well as performing in important clubs in both places, and in Hawaii, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Spain as well. 
	
Freddie Mejia was mentioned in Donn Pohren’s seminal Flamenco book and photographed in “I Am a Lover”.  He has played with and learned from some of the most major Flamenco guitarists in the world, including Paco de Lucia, Agustin Rios, and Luis Agujetas. 
	
He married his present wife dancer Marianna Mejia, in 2000 and they formed Flamenco Romántico. They have 2 dance studios on their property and host many visiting Flamenco artists from Spain. They have spent a lot of time in Spain perfecting their art and living with the Gypsies.

Federico played Flamenco guitar professionally for 60 years until a massive stroke ended his career early 2006. He now plays cajon (a box-like drum). 

Fortunately, Federico has been able to resume his former work of making and repairing guitars, which he enjoys today. 

Recently he has been compiling old recordings of his music to pass on to the world.

Adriana Primavera de  Guatemala.Se define como compositora y multi instrumentista,Adriana Primavera fusiona Son Cubano Bossa Nova  entre otros ritmos Latino Americanos combinados con el hip hop y el funk dando como resultado una combinación de ritmos del mundo;Adriana Primavera caminado de la mano con proyectos como Ache Colectivo,Saoko desarrollandose en ambos proyectos como cantante guitarrista y compositora de los temas.Sin duda alguna Cuba tiene una fuerte influencia en su música por la herencia que su Padre Cubano dejo en su legado,Adriana primavera;Realizo una residencia de 3 años en la Habana Cuba fue la cantante principal del proyecto del Pianista Cubano Edmanuel Rodriguez  mismo proyecto en el cual se desempeño como cantante y compositora de las letras de dicha agrupación llamada la Resistencia proyecto en el cual participaban músicos de todas partes del mundo como Israel,Pais Vasco ,Venezuela ,Mexico entre otros.
Actualmente Adriana Primavera se desarrolla como solista con su proyecto colectivo de músicos con los que comparte diversos formatos musicales.El viaje sonoro de La Primavera.
