Description: This simple song emerged from an informal workshop at All Angels' Church's 2018 parish retreat. I penned a few verses in response to a comment made by someone on the retreat, and this is the treatment that developed when I picked up a guitar and began to sing.

This track was recorded in the Duderstadt Audio Studio at the University of Michigan. The quartet was made up of Jeff Siegfried on tenor sax, Brendan Davis on Keys, Eliza Salem on Drums, and Mohan Ritsema on bass.

I used a pair of 414 XLS II on piano along with a pair of fatheads, an RE 20 and a KSM 44 on bass, A TLM 192 on sax in addition to a DPA 4022 . On drums, I used a pair of FET 62 miks as overheads, a 57 on snare, and an RE 20 on bass. I miked the hat and ride cymbals with SM 81s, but didn't end up using much of them in the mix
