Here at Soulvent Records we’re pleased to announce a new compilation album, the 2nd instalment in the Soul Sessions series. With brand new and exclusive tracks from our current roster and returning names, Soul Sessions Vol. 2 further showcases the dynamic and forward-thinking music that we’re all about! Following the release of Pola & Bryson’s debut album, the pair deliver a stellar remix of Dualistic’s ‘Brave’ while other label familiars include the likes of GLXY, Arch Origin and Phaction. The LP also sees debuts for some of the most exciting new talents on the scene InMost, Aperio, Identify and Akranes. Soul Sessions brings forth familiar names such as Nexus & Tight and Phloem along with a boatload of new school ﬂavour, with material from artists across the board including music from South African native, Fearbace, Bristol-based Imba, and the big boys from LA - Consouls. With an exciting 2016 almost behind the us, Soul Sessions Vol. 2 is a solid round up of what we’ve been working up to throughout the year.

Klax - Flouro Riddim

My tune, "empty winter", describes a scenery like a symphonic poem. It consists of three parts.

[intro: From beneath the sea]
    I feel as if I sank into the sea. Cold and dark winter sea. I look up a glimmer of light of the water surface.

[I: Killer Whale]
    Several killer whales go across the water surface.

[II: Wating for spring]
    I start to surface with sparkling bubbles. I feel somehow satisfied.

Pegboard Nerds x Quiet Disorder - Move That Body

The next Dispatch LTD instalment heads to the South Coast as we welcome Bournemouth resident Rizzle to the label for his debut release, the ‘Ascension EP’. 

Intricate, crisp drums are offset by deep, melodic chords throughout the release, as Rizzle brings a sophisticated warmness to the fold. 

With techno inspired progression and smooth pads contrasting the fast pace, his music strikes a nerve in opposing settings; chilled, easy listening at home on the one hand, but harboring a dark, subtle groove that causes damage on a club system. 

Rizzle raises the bar with his Ascension EP, teasing between alternating vibes across four rolling tracks, that each leave a soulful glow in their trail.
