No Reason

From the Earth Beneath Our Feet album.  This was a working title that came from the 'the cliffs of Dover' line (if you are old enough your will understand).  Like many working titles it stuck.

Though its contours and geography were never that clear to me
So I just went with the flow carried up where the wind blows

This track was written in Spring. A time we also call ‘the quickening’.
It’s a reflection of life’s turns, the way time moves, the quiet things. It’s about love of life, each other and nature.
When I wrote this it seemed to come from the depths of my belly;  blossoming as it emerged like the first delicate snowdrops of the season.
It’s a song about all things seen and unseen.
