Im Jahr 2001 starteten er und Henrixx ihre ersten Veröffentlichungen auf Anthony's Label, gefolgt von weiteren Veröffentlichungen auf den Labels Zombie Nation und Stammheim Legend Pierre. Nach einer Familienpause haben Duniz & Henrix 2022 zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen auf verschiedenen Labels gestartet.

Gemeinsam mit Nadine Fen und Marcel Huldt betreibt Duniz das junge Label
"Klangtrauma Records". Mittlerweile veröffentlicht Duniz auch als Solokünstlerin und steht für DJ-Auftritte zur Verfügung.

In 1993 Duniz started spinning records for the first time. He quickly became resident DJ at a small underground club in his hometown of Bielefeld. In 2001 he and his companion Henrixx started their first releases on Anthony Rother's labels, further releases on Zombie Nation and Stammheim Legende Pierre labels followed.
After many more gigs and working in a club, Duniz took some time off to focus on family. In 2022 Duniz came back and started producing. He started working together with Nadine Fehn and Marcel Huldt for their label Klangtrauma.
In January 2025 Duniz started his own Imprint “Equal”, as a platform for artists that love raw, hypnotic Techno with a dose of groove.
Duniz is currently releasing on many recognised labels, a small selection is below, as well as a short overview of some of the clubs he has played in.

Duniz has been DJing since 1993, starting as a resident at an underground club in Bielefeld. In the early 2000s, he and his partner Henrixx released music on Anthony Rother’s label, followed by releases on Zombie Nation and Stammheim Legend Pierre. After a break to focus on family, Duniz returned in 2022 with fresh releases alongside Henrixx on various labels.

He co-runs Klangtrauma Records with Nadine Fehn and Marcel Huldt while also releasing music as a solo artist. His sound is powerful, raw, hypnotic, and driving, reflected in releases on Jeton, Cmnd|Ctrl, On Edge Society, Naked Lunch, and more. Duniz's sound is characterised by powerful basslines, precise percussion and atmospheric
soundscapes. In his productions, he mixes classic techno with various other influences, turning each
track into an individual sound journey. His EPs have been released on recognised labels such as On
Edge Society, Jeton, Naked Lunch, Sbert, E-Hrzn and others.
On stage, Duniz manages to create a captivating atmosphere with his music. In clubs such as
Sisyphos, Tresor, Harry Klein and others, he gives the audience an intense, emotional and rhythmic
experience.
For him, music is an ongoing, evolving process - characterised by curiosity and the desire to explore
new sonic paths. With each new work, he aims to provide fresh impetus, surprise the audience and
maintain a unifying sound.
Under his labels Equal and Klangtrauma, he collaborates internationally with other artists - always in
search of new, inspiring ideas.

Duniz returns to the Altera podcast with his second contribution, once again delivering his signature blend of raw, hypnotic, and groove-driven techno. Active since the early '90s and rooted in the underground scene of Bielefeld, he took a long break to focus on family before returning in 2022 with renewed energy. Since then, he's been remarkably prolific — constantly releasing new music and collaborating with artists like Nadine Fehn and Marcel Huldt. In 2025, he launched his own imprint Equal, a platform for raw and groovy techno that reflects his artistic vision.

Bio:
Back in the early 1990s Duniz first discovered his love of electronic music.

Then, in the early 2000s, he released on the labels of Anthony Rother, Zombie Nation and the Stammheim legend Pierre.

After many more gigs and working in a club, he decided it was time to focus on his family and took some time off.

Now, as a solo artist, Duniz is focusing all his energy on his love of raw, hypnotic techno.
Together with Nadine Fehn and Marcel Huldt, he runs the Klangtrauma label.
In January 2025, he founded his new label Equal.
