Whether taking influence from trip-hop / experimental greats, or today’s pervading variants of “bass music”, the ‘Found Objects’ LP escapes strict categorization, and follows no singular blueprint. With each track, Arure explores new sonic spaces, cycling through constant new variations on a theme. I haven't done a serious mix in a while and somehow it ended up being a blend of melancholy blues, swing and heaps of tropical courtesy of some of my favourite producers at the moment. 

The last time I did a mix I was still using vinyl so I wanted to experiment with sorting one out entirely digitally. It's not as easy as it should be...mostly just difficult keeping the quality up after having had to rerecord MP3s at altered tempos for the mixes. If any of the artists featured in the mix feel like sending me full wavs or aifs of their tunes then I'd be delighted to slot them back in at higher quality. Here's the tracklist.
