With the CDC’s eviction moratorium set to expire, millions are now facing homelessness because they cannot pay rent. And why do governments controlled by the ultra-rich sometimes decide to institute measures that alleviate the suffering of workers?

As Millions face a wave of evictions: Marx’s Theory of Rent

This little track is the introduction of "The Open Path", a serie of piano tracks I composed and recorded like 8-9 years ago. I release it only now for the first time. I added a field recording of blackbirds singings because to me, this music is linked to the spring, when everything slowly awakes after a cold winter, bringing to us fresh and positive energies. As a deacon at United Methodist of Mer Rouge, Hassell Clark had keys that allowed him to enter the sanctuary during off-hours, of which there were many, and record the sound of various settings on the church organ--usually single notes and sustained chords--which he would later edit and manipulate extensively in his home studio, resulting in impressionistic pieces like this one.
