During my adventures in Guatemala in a town called Tzununa, it was a rainy night, I and a couple of friends were having a good time jamming at the Fungi Academy, we were improvising and grooving on beats with the guitar and several percussions including a couple of hang pans, and suddenly, a great and creative vegan chef from Jamaica called Lance likes the rhythm and jumps in on the beat starting to sing the song *most of the lyrics. And that's how "Irie through the night" was born, later I worked more on the rhythm of the guitar and the arrangements and also added more phrases to the lyrics.
