JSPRV35 returns for our seventh instalment of the series. The dutch DJ started playing around year ago and has quickly developed a unique style of techno which is true to the 90's routes with his own spin on groovy techno. This hour is full of fast paced rhythms which is sure to get you up on your feet.

He has also recently started producing which we have been lucky to hear some of his unreleased material. He is defiantly one to look out for in the future for sure!

We are delighted to present a mix from the groove dealer himself, Portugal-based DJ and producer VIL for number 86. Starting off under the Moniker "Sinner", VIL made his debut in the electronic music scene in 2008, playing Drum N' Bass, UK Garage and Dubstep. Then in 2013 he kickstarted his current VIL project, focused on techno, breaks, electro and house, which was followed by a string of releases on labels like Lewis Fautzi's "Faut Section" as well as Damon Wild's Synewave New York. VIL's set-building ability as well as his refined taste and unmistakable sound have made him a regular at clubs and festivals all around his home country. Then in 2018, VIL teamed up with fellow artists Temudo and menosdois to create HAYES, a label focused on putting out quality releases showcasing the distinct sound of their artists. The platform has been wildly successful with multiple releases to date, garnering support from some of the biggest names in the scene. Enjoy!

@way2y found his way to DJing through friends who had been DJs or producers for some time. His ultimate passion came from experiences on the dance floor that literally left him speechless. He was particularly influenced by a set by D.Dan in the club Alte Münze. This experience changed his view of mixing and his demands on technique enormously. Artists who inspire him are Rene Wise and Seatoc Mass.

For him, a creative set has both highs and lows and this creative work starts with tracks that can ideally create a 'symbiosis'. He gets inspiration from other creative people and their passions, which encourages him.
His main motivation is to eventually deliver the euphoria and inspiration that led him to discover his passion to the people on the dance floor. Ideally, the dance floor is a place of unlimited flow, whether it concerns music, art or even poetry.

With his labels and projects (@maloer-records , @rs-st-berlin and @stainedberlin ), he aims to support artists he sees potential in. Since there are so many talented producers in this genre, two of them are @glimmgallop and @alarico_katana

For over a decade, Max Gardner has dedicated himself to techno. He's a constant presence in the San Francisco Bay Area scene, DJing clubs and warehouse parties, hosting his own events, producing his own hammerhead machine music, and performing all-hardware live sets in collaboration with Muon as Transpose. Max is co-founder and resident DJ of Direct to Earth since 2011, and later this year he will launch ‘peer’, a new techno label with Cory Simpson of DEPTH and Sean Raya.

As a producer, Max Gardner’s originals and remixes have landed on labels such as Dusk n Haze, Northern Parallels, Truncate, Occultists, and lots more. As a DJ, his sets run through the gamut of techno in its purest forms, inspired by the heavy, synth-forward sounds of Detroit and Berlin classics and new-school players from the Netherlands, Latin America, and the U.S. Midwest. He's played dozens of beloved clubs and festivals throughout the Americas and Europe. He's been busy for years, but Max is just getting started in 2021.

Nicolas Vogler’s fascination for music stretches back far into his childhood. Born and raised in Londrina, southern Brazil, his musical journey first manifested itself in an admiration for punk and rock n’ roll, which inspired him in his early years to learn guitar. As a teenager, he discovered electronic music through underground parties, nurturing a passion for techno that has only grown over the years.
Inspired by the dirty rawness of old school techno and the hypnotic vibes of more contemporary tracks, Nicolas Vogler decided to pursue his newfound passion by DJing at small events in his hometown. Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own personal label NCLS as well as through releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Syxt Berlin, Drawner records, Malör Records, ESP Collective and Mutual Rytm. Played by techno DJs worldwide, Nicolas’ tracks can be found in mixes by notable artists such as Rødhåd, Ben Sims, Rene Wise and many others.
