For this edition of the mix series, we invited both DJ and producer Jan Goertz. His productions as well as his mixes are refined and versatile as he explores the different atmospheres and subgenres of techno. Inspired by the club culture as he believes techno is "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for." 

The mix showcases a selection of 48 tracks through an unconventional way of mixing by using loops to create unity. 4-deck mixing and playing with a variety of elements is how he keeps the listener on their toes. His soulful track selection and minimalist approach give this mix character.

For the first mix of the year we have producer & DJ William Arist. The Uruguayan artist has been involved in music since the young age of 11 and has refined his sound of Techno over the past years. Last week he released on Frenzy with a remarkable EP and his own imprint Perseverancia is a steady source of the timeless sound we all love. We also strongly admire him for his initiative of raising money for the Amazon with the album Basquade. A storytelling album with a spiritual context.

We are very happy to have to have William on the series with a mix solely of his own productions. A mix that showcases his eclectic production style with a driving and focused take on the sound.
