Stephen Disario returns to his imprint Conundrum Records with his first release of the year, the Tawa EP. A fixture of the Los Angeles scene, Disario delivers three dark, percussive techno cuts that lean into tribal rhythms and hypnotic energy. Each track is a testament to his razor-sharp drum programming, immersive sound design, and cerebral atmospheres—hallmarks of his evolving sonic identity.

The EP also features a standout remix from rising Brazilian talent Marcal. His "Hightimes" rework blends dense, chugging grooves with eerie chimes and trance-like, spacey textures, offering a fresh, mind-bending take on the original.

Skin and bone. A face featureless, white linen. The debut 12” of Funeral Future greets you with a cold hand and welcomes you into this dark night of the soul. Manic pulse, cutting hi-hats, and funereal leads. Techno has never sounded this elegiac.

Intense tempos, railing percussion, muscle charge. The music of Repro radiates like an electric skyline across the inner eye, as the striking beat sends you spiralling down through the cold fabric of modern life. This is techno in it’s most urgent, and unapologetic form.

Tommy Four Seven - UUU

This time is Ricardo Rodrigues AKA Industrialyzer who lands on the court of Damon Wild with three tracks perfectly aliened with the label's philosophy, Synewave has been at the service of real techno for over 20 years. 

It all begins with "Analogue Planet" a 130 bpm journey which rouses the dance floor whilst stimulating the mind, giving both of them no mercy. 

The second track, "Multiple Walls", carries the flavour of an Old School small march with a hammondesque synth which revolves around the groove from beginning to end. 

The atmosphere becomes dark and acid in the third and final track on this release. "Orbit X" is an emotional roller coaster which develops in different phases, everyone of which takes the listener by surprise. 

With this release Industrialyzer reminds us that, after all, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, Amsterdam or Lisbon don't really matter, quality techno is a global affair and Synewave consistently confirms this with releases above all schemes, movements and trends. Monumental.
