PREMIERE: Shft.rar - Mutual Noise

Two souls sneaking in life. | This time, I’m sharing some tracks I've been working on with friends. Colombian artist Alessandro and I came together to create this EP, inspired by our experiences in the booth and what we want to build from them. We hope you enjoy this EP that we’ve crafted together.

Unissued Series Part 3 consists of 4 tracks with a focus on atmospheric/ spacial elements, and developing synth work, giving each track its own unique characteristics.

Starting out with a more experimental ambient piece I made a while ago, I try to lead the listener into more depth of my sound design process. A repeating sub melody is playing as I play around with various parameters allowing for it to evolve and change in character over time. The following 2 tracks take a similar approach in the development of the atmospheres and synth sounds, supported by simple but solid drums. Rounding off the release is a track focused on delivering driving yet moving drums, supported by dubby chords, and a repetitive but evolving sequence in the low mids.

Conundrum Records proudly presents The Primitive Loops, a three-track EP from acclaimed Japanese techno producer Toru Ikemoto. Known for his uncompromising approach, Ikemoto delivers a set of stripped-down, functional tracks that dive deep into the darker, hypnotic side of techno. With throbbing low-end, urgent rhythms, and gritty textures, each track on this release embodies the signature Conundrum aesthetic.

Rounding out the EP, Southern California’s own Lindsey Herbert reinterprets Don’t Play 170 with her signature touch, layering vocals over a relentless beat that adds a fresh intensity to Ikemoto’s original.

Analytical Convenience presents M3STR - Magnetic Rose EP.

We’re back with an in-house EP from M3STR, bringing us a sonic tale of mystery and eeriness.

Inspired by the Magnetic Rose short story from Memories (1995) by Katsuhiro Otomo & Satoshi Kon, these tracks were produced by the artist in a surge of inspiration after watching the film, giving us as a reimagined soundtrack to this classic.

Throughout the EP, we journey across intriguing atmospheres and melodic hooks always accompanied by powerful grooves, aimed for a mental experience on the dance floors.

On remix duties we have with us Dust Devices, with a new dystopic vision on “Dreaming”.
In it, we’re carried through a cinematic flight alongside his carefully crafted synthlines.

”A space crew is called upon to investigate a distress signal from what ought to be an abandoned space station, run by an AI opera diva. The AI manipulates life support, VR, and nano systems, posing dangers the crew must overcome to survive.”
