Spec, hailing from New Zealand is
one of Uprise Audio’s original team
members. Over the past seven years he’s dropped some huge releases on the imprint and this one might just be his best yet. Both tracks vary from each other vastly, but compliment each other perfectly for the release, with the dance floor in mind and complete focus on having as much impact as possible. Both tunes are very much anticipated and have been on rotation in some high profile sets and radio shows. Spec never fails to impress with his out of the box approach in his music and this is a shining example of just how varied and versatile his works are.
‘Wet Socks’ has a serious attitude and its suspenseful horned laden intro lays down dirty foundations ready for the chest pounding bass and lashing beats which follow.  

‘Lost’ is a whole different beast. Its time signature is puzzling and it takes a moment to work out its mechanics. The swing on beats and throbbing bass completely dictate the way everything shuffles together and in such effortless fashion, sounding like it’s playing slower than its actual tempo of 140bpm.

Hailing from Kelowna, Canada, Depth presents his debut release with Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz offering up an amazing selection of experimental and jazzy dubstep. The opening track, '(un)loved', kicks off with progressively harmonic chords layered by beautiful vocal stabs. The EP then explores two incredible productions: 'Clean Dem' is a pure jazzy roller, while 'Mist' takes a more experimental approach with a dark skanked out vibe. The EP is backed by two amazing remixes with Jafu taking 'Clean Dem' for an energetic garage/2 step spin and Demure utilizing his insane sampling skills to revamp 'Mist' into a chopped up rhythmic beauty. The EP is rounded out by familiar vocals on Depth's 'War', which is being given out for FREE DOWNLOAD to show appreciation to everyone supporting  these legendary artists.
