His blend of old techno and modern trance really takes us in a direction we love. Currently working on some serious music we can tell you now the future will be bright for the young Liverpudlian artist.

Ismcast Presents 176 - Faster Horses

This week on the Ismcast we have LACCHESI.

The Paris based Frenchman has been kind enough to supply this weeks mix for our ismcast series. Lacchesi, co-founder of Maison Close, has been on the rise for some time now releasing music regularly on his own imprint as well as remixing for great artists such as Darzack. He has also dropped tracks which he has worked on alongside artists such as ABSL, Francois X and Mac Declos to name just a few.

The mix is just over an hour of bouncy, abstract techno displaying quite a unique sound which we absolutely love.

A: "My dream venue right now would be Fold in London but for a peak time set! I've played a warmup set there in October and the space seems super promising."

Düsseldorf-based DJ and producer Valerie Ace is artist no. 38 to feature in our podcast series. Since the German artist released her debut EP "Glitzer Vs Hass" on SPFDJ's label @intrepidskin in February, Valerie has dived head-first into music production. Follow-up releases on @mamatoldya and @malaadh have snaked into her discography, amplifying her lithe sound within the technosphere. Valerie also heads up her own label, @hardwon-label, where she has shared more of her work alongside a release by Morocco-born producer Vel. In 2022, Valerie soundtracked FOLD, ÆDEN and broadcast her first Boiler Room from Berlin. Next year, she'll return to London for a specific event…somewhere in Tottenham. 👀 Keen to experiment and create her own sound designs, Valerie pays close attention to detail, whether she's DJ or producing. Her searing mix for us reflects this approach to a tee.

Already on board for the first EP of the label MTY001 «Body changes are natural», then in- vited on the first compilation MTY-EAU «L’eau repousse les feux agressifs», ABSL is now building his own way through one-of-a-kind cinematic album.
«It’s just a bad dream» includes 2 hypnotic vinyls and 10 chimerical tracks. 9 are produced by ABSL and one is co-produced between ABSL and Anetha. MTY008 plunges us into one feverish nightmare, but don’t worry, Mama will be there if you wake up.
