Shaleen started listening to techno music at a really young age. To her, the music and everything around it was always about togetherness, revolution, to stand up for the right things, to grow and to experience them together. This was also in her mind, when she first started SURD event series and upcoming label. She invented a feminine/queer movement in the west of Germany’s Ruhr-Area, where nothing like this existed at this point. A very significant point in her career was the moment Janein asked her to be the next member of Seelen Records. The whole crew quickly became like a second family to her. 
She released her first debut EP in early 2020 on Seelen Records, which included a Hector Oaks and a New Frames Remix. Quickly followed by the next release dropped by the Turkish label „Primus“, which stands up for women's rights. Another banging release came right after that on Brooklyn’s mighty Whirlwindtrax. 
A lot of dreams came true to Shaleen - she was playing in Germany's most wanted venue's like Institut fuer Zukunft, Distillery, About Blank, Goethebunker, Griessmühle, Pal - just to name a few - such as her first appearance at Berghain’s Säule in 2019, which was a very special moment for her. She also started to travel abroad and played gigs in foreign countries.  Her music can be described as tough, raw and energetic. It can be super dramatic, fast, or a peak time rave experience, always with a huge amount of energy included. While producing, Shaleen is trying to focus on what is coming out of herself according to the present moment. She describes music production as some kind of a way to process the deepest feelings or emotions - a love process for sure.

During his time as a DJ and Producer, JANEIN's musical career has been akin to the flight of a spaceship. While not without it’s obstacles, the young german artist has been running on full gear unintimidated and has henceforth left big marks on the techno scene like BASSIANI, Distillery, Institut Fuer Zukunft, Blitz Club Munich, ://about blank and TRESOR Berlin to a few.
Be it by running the SEELEN imprint, dismantling one of the stops on his quickly growing tour-schedule or delivering relentless, trance-tinged techno cuts with a clear nod to pulpy 80’s science fiction. His selection in one of his DJ-sets also shows a particular sensibility to what makes Rave culture, with a unique take on techno spanning modern chugger’s to old school EBM anthems.

Behind the name Sept stands Warsaw based DJ, producer and live act artist, who started the project back in 2015. From the very whole begging he is involved into running Berlin based label, as an A&R - Voxnox Records. Till today he had an opportunity to perform in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden and far-off Colombia. Except his international shows, he visited all most important venues and festivals in Poland as well.

We met I Hate Models last year somewhere in the northern suburbs of Paris. We were both playing at different shows that night. After this spontaneous meeting, IHM took us to a pretty raw afterparty, underneath a bridge. It was grimy, the place filled up by forceful techno, lots of naked bodies and heavy boiling temperatures. We discovered a common interest in certain experimental music. Since I Hate Models is mostly playing big room techno events nowadays, we thought it could be an interesting experiment to bring him into a different context, where he’d be able to tell another story. That was last week, at the Red Light Radio studio for the Knekelhuis takeover during Amsterdam Dance Event.
