Vera Moro is a trans queer non binary dj based in Brussels. She is making her way in the Belgian techno scene, with a particular interest for queer parties. She’s an active member of the transnational
collective ShaktiStream, alongside other talented artists. She grew up listening to different styles, and was mainly influenced by pop music; although her main penchant is trance, acid, and hardcore techno, her older music taste can easily be perceived.

Her set for Durch is a long 150 bpm journey that starts from a strong acid beginning, with hints of trance and pop. It escalates to a hardcore chapter quickly fading into hard house and ending on notes of dance trance. There is a lot of her in this one-hour journey, come, discover, and enjoy!

Ace made herself known through her debut EP Glitzer Vs Hass that was released on SPFDJ’s highly esteemed label Intrepid Skin in early 2022. Two more releases have followed since on Anetha’s Mama Told Ya and Ceili’s Mala Adh. In late 2022 Ace introduced her own hybrid label Hardwon.

Valerie Ace started her musical journey in her teens playing electric guitar in an experimental rock band and spent much of her 20s in art school where she turned toward a more electronic sound. Playing the role of a tongue-in-cheek commentator, she draws inspiration from lived experiences of today’s complex dance-floor politics.

In the Studio Valerie Ace likes to experiment and create her own sounddesigns and aesthetics. She has been exploring electronic instruments from her first oscillator - which was a self-made circuit that she built into the back of an electric guitar - all the way to complex modular synthesizers. It is this high level of curiosity and attention to detail which allows the sound of Valerie Ace to stand out.

SubAllies celebrated their inaugural event on International Women’s Day 2022 by hosting a demonstration and raving through the streets of Berlin.

Influenced from a very young age by the sounds coming from Germany, Belgium,
the UK or Detroit, she has always had a special fixation for strong bases and strong
drums.
In terms of electronic music, and during her adolescence, she focused mainly on
Hardcore, Drum&Bass and even Break&Beat, which today allows her to boast
totally eclectic and unique sets.
Trained as a Classical pianist, she has also been musically influenced by styles as
diverse as Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Industrial Metal, Metal, Grindcore, or Death Metal, a fact that is reflected in the special and surprising nature of her
performances. Teri Makashi's sets, based on sounds and songs that she knows well, and feels and enjoys from her most authentic artistic essence, and her dynamics in the booth, with mastery of both vinyl and the most modern players, cross the barrier of convention and connect with the public at emotional levels that very few artists of her style can reach.
She is currently focused mainly on the production of her own tracks and onintensifying her projection in the European market, with her debut in Lisbon
(Portugal) in October 2021.
