Collision - The Control Room (L'Hallucidité HS12 / unmastered version)

On his follow-up to ROOS10, French DJ and producer Adam BFD lets imagination thrive with five mesmerizing breaksy house cuts, best heard under a star-lit sky. Duality flows seamlessly throughout the whole record, Adam harnessing the power to connect everyday experiences with a higher state of consciousness. 

The EP kicks off with ‘Digital Tales’ which layers wistful secrets over mood-altering pads; it’s hypnotic undertone grounding and continuous. ‘Cirrus Dreamz' ascends even further into the clouds, it’s steady pace expertly infused with cosmic melody and shuffling rhythms.

In a world driven by hyper-connectivity, Adam’s productions are a welcome reminder to stop and explore, none more so than in the immersive world of  B side opener ‘1st sight’. Dynamic percussion provides the movement, while meditative sonics produce the feeling of being swept up in a magic carpet and taken along for the ride. Adam’s depth of field widens in title track ‘Rose’, a quasi-epic composition combining all the best elements of house and breakbeat.

The record comes to a contemplative halt with ‘Siniestro’ - an ambient bubble-bath with field recordings poignantly placed across developing pads yearning for connection; showcasing another side to a producer who knows how to tug at the heartstrings.

PREMIERE: Gallegos - Faulty VHS Chewed My WWF Tapes [Slump Recordings]

Mother Of Pearls (@mother-of-pearls), the duo of Tom Jarmey (tom-jarmey) and Ed Hodge (@edward-hodge), are back in action after gracing listeners with their earth-shattering debut and sophomore releases nearly two years ago. Now they land firmly on HOMAGE with their 'Gelexian Protocol' EP, serving up four delicious slices of rumbling bass and breaks along with a killer remix by Viers (@viers).

Based in Manchester, both Tom and Ed have quickly become consistent fixtures of clubland. Tom's releases on Holding Hands, Lobster Theremin, Dansu Discs, and more, and Ed's releases on Tresydos, Gestalt, Shall Not Fade, and Dansu Discs have proven that both artists are dependable purveyors of underground dancefloor material. Their debut collaborative EP on R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings and their sophomore release on Gunfinger Food introduced their distinct sound in 2020 and 2021 and their third full length here will deliver the next chapter of their story.

Leading off the release is 'Hive' with a weighty bassline and brain-tickling textures underneath a haunting vocal, clearly setting the tone for an A-side aimed at the most transcendent moments caught in the dance. 'Machine Language' follows appropriately with a deep chest-rattling low end and breakbeat rhythms wrapped in a warm blanket of atmosphere, earworm synths, and seductive vocal stabs. On the flip side, Mother Of Pearls amps up the energy and taps into the duo's rave influence with 'Peace On Halcyon', pairing hyper rhythms with a piercing synth and booming bass. Rounding out the originals is the Ambient Mix of 'Machine Language', with meditative textures delicately guiding the listener on a blissful sonic journey. Finally completing the release is the Viers remix of 'Peace On Halcyon', completely flipping the original into an otherworldly bass anthem that fits right at home on this stacked release.

Ghosts kicks things off with ticking clocks and haunting melodies woven throughout, creating a deeply atmospheric track. It surrounds you with thick layers of pads and strings, underpinned with tear-jerking chords and vocals, sprinkled with touches of Amy’s beloved Juno 106.

Til You See takes us in an uplifting direction, with a powerful bassline blazing against a backdrop of soaring pads and delicately placed arpeggiators, leading towards a spine-tingling yet subtle vocal as the track reaches its peak.

Last but by no means least comes the EP's title track, Four Track Mind, its nostalgic organ sounds, bouncy percussive chops and big basslines ensuring it will be a huge dancefloor moment when it's played out.

TL Premiere : Jauzas The Shining - 0305 [Diffuse Reality Records]

Jauzas The Shining stars in the new release of Diffuse Reality with a solo album in which the French producer exposes his particular vision of electro, a style that is beginning to have more and more weight in the Spanish-Argentinean label, and that adds to the growing progression and evolution of the platform in which it includes a more extensive range of genres that covers much more than the aggressive sound that so represented this project in its first stage.

Jauzas The Shining recently collaborated on Diffuse Reality with a remix of one of the tracks from Meltphace's album. Now, it is the Frenchman who takes the lead role with a reference that includes 5 original tracks and 3 different remixes of Synthèse by Daniele Paduano, Lenson & FSQ.

From Industrial Complexx we give you a preview of one of these versions, you can already listen to the whole track that closes this album.
