Toy Tonics signed a band! Yes! After developing many DJ producers like COEO, Cody Currie and Sam Ruffilo now the Berlin imprint comes up with an electronic band! Baby's Berserk come from Amsterdam. 2 guys and 2 girls who studied art and fashion design and love 80ies dance pop dance bands like Talking Heads, New Order or the 2000’s LCD Soundsystem. They have a big love for 1980ies music and try to conect it with today's indie aesthetics.
You might know some members of the band from their other activities: One member of the band makes clothes for UK popstars like ADELE and the other band boss is Mano Hostelle. He is also part of Mauskovic dance band and other buzzed indie electronic bands from Amsterdam and Berlin.

The debut album of Baby's Berserk has been released in fall 2023 but here we come with a remix EP of their album. To introduce the music via the dancefloors.
Remix comes from Niklas Wandt (the German jazz drummer and lofi house producer.). The Indie rock hero Kris Baha did a remix as well as Nicolini (from world famous Mauscovic Dance Band).

Indie dance is coming back and Toy Tonics has the band for it! Kids will love Baby's Berserk!

We love working with local fellow music makers and this one has been long in the works but finally we are pleased to be dropping Serendipity by one of the Doodle members, Tim Shaw aka Amuse Bouche. 5 tracks of varying sounds with a common dance floor aimed trend, from straight up disco tackle to left of field broken beats business. This is a pretty awesome offering that is steeped in Mancunian night life vibes for those that prefer a non-Instagram focused night out.

Starting off comes a top shelf cover version of one of the catchiest cross over tracks ever! Acapella sees Lady Lady feature on vocal duties of ‘that’ ear worm which she does a stunning sonic workout for some big sing-a-long scenes for the dance floor. Big unashamedly party business!

Serendipity goes all jacking & wonky with some 80’s style breakdance beats alongside synth lines & rumbling bass notes which builds around a stuttered vocal sample before dropping to deliver the goods. Mutant-Cosmic-Breakdance is the order of the day here.

Night Drive slows things all the way down and takes off across the neon lit highway in a white Lamborghini to the cosmic outer reaches. Dreamy & ethereal in equal measure with a touch of The Cure if they were fully electronic. One for the sundown sets when you need to create utter bliss.

Pastiche throws a net over all things left of centre to create a straight up peak time slammer. Scattered drums & percussion with a jungle loop undertone, stuttered vocal sample (which may be familiar) ad bags of energy to create a real roof raiser.

Take It Easy finishes of the E.P. and is a large helping of Italo inspired Nu-Disco style shenanigans with probably the most hookiest vocal we’ve ever been involved with. All slightly wobbly but in all the right places and ready to be dropped for some peak time smoke filled situations.
