Y'all know how the story goes: a Mindbender (@marten-attling) meets a Random Loop Generator (@gsbaxter303) - love at first beat!

This finest of collabs, between techno veteran Mårten 'Mindbender' Attling and When Disco Goes Wrong (@janne-berglund) favourite Gary Baxter AKA 'Random Loop Generator', starts off with the deep dubby acid stomper Darkest Days, revealing Gary's excellent song and text writing skills - paired with a per usual solid Mindbender production. 

Brace yourself for the Acid Shock of Random Rock! The second track on Darkest Day EP moves through sparse and beautiful electro landscape, punctuated by disted 303 lines and Garys twisted vocal. 

Then disco proceeds to go horribly wrong and totally pear shaped with One Night. This is the night when we totally loose it, we dance, we sing, we laugh, we love. You will shake what you mother gave you to this twisted hedonist monster of a track.

Finishing off this EP is the beautiful downtempo, future retro vibe piece It's Time (Original Mix), showcasing both Garys remarkable text and rap skills as well as Mårten's depth and breath as a producer - with this Model 500 meets Stereo MC:s future classic.

Mindbender Feat. Random Loop Generator - One Night [When Disco Goes Wrong]

‘Muy Duro’ flagship V/A series returns this year with his volumen 6, music from new and old souls around the world. Le Dame Noir’s Arthur Johnson give you the entrance ticket with "31SPCIAL", a locomotive ride loaded with a bouncy bass, steady percussions and sharp cymbals that drive you to the peak. It is followed by Cornelius Doctor’s "Zsa Zsa Can't Don't Cry", a metallic and playful percussion with a mix of unhinged and liberating synthesizers.

Changing the semblance are ID_UA & Berny with "Tutta La Notte", a broken beat cut. Its hypnotizing synths will make you descend into the deepest and sweltering of the night, the point where you never want to see the sunlight again. Colossio's "Regios", is the perfect soundtrack to transport you to the multidimensional plane where you don't know if there will be a return accompanied by wild and nutty gnomes or your entrance to the psychiatric. Guitar and synthesizer riffs that when entering the center of your head hypnotize you, distorting your neurons and reality.

To close the compilation is Alvaro Cabana’s "Adventures Under The Dome", ironically inspired by all the theories that circulate today about the "dome" that covers the flat earth. A mix of sounds that could be defined as Robot Disco and Trippy Bleepy Fun, alluding to the fact that no matter if the earth is round, square or an infinite multidimensional plane, we could choose to go through this life with the intention of not stopping to have adventures and positive experiences.

Duro starts the year by the bonfire with “Piel de Oso", the first collaboration between two beloved in-house artists, Theus Mago & Tyu, and the Spanish rapper, Livia. The cut is abetted by two remixes, the first one comes from Israelis sidereal groovers, Rina X Benji. The second one by the loco weed brothers, Moisees & ZEA, a saiko rebajado track.

The opener is the original cut, an opiate and hypnotic track where Livia's flow is diluted with spirited Latin percussions, a bouncy bass, recondite and baffling melodies creating shadows between fire and smoke. Fresh from smashing the dancefloors across the globe with the genius Switchdance collaboration named "Reak", Rina comes back to Duro alongside Benji. Cut where the duo accelerate the rhythm, creating a percussive and dreamlike night journey where animals and machines dance to the rhythm of drums and flames.

At dawn is the version shaped by ZEA and Moisees, a cut with vocals distorted, taking Livia's voice to a Voodoo and wild spectrum. A wide bass line, accompanied by astral synthesizers, arcane melodies and acid sounds.

We proudly present a stunning 4 Tracker EP with Remixes from Aheadacheaday and the infamous Chinaski.

“The Straussian Method” is inspired by the belief in the almost infinite malleability of human kind “The Straussian Method” was born restless. Dragging basslines from the sewers and dripping sultry acid lines from the ceiling, TSM condemn those who live in a world of illusions and self-deception.

“Rhetorical Procedure” is a simulation, is the form of the future that deals with what may happen. Sharp snares and eloquent pads set the perfect canvas for the acidic brushstrokes in desperate need to establish that change is possible.

Aheadacheaday Remix of “The Straussian Method” brings the raw breakbeat drum-work with his electro remix on “The Straussian Method”. Based on cynicism and irony to critique his surroundings, distorted bass lines take control to expose the filthy shame of mortals).

Known for his works on Running Back and Dischi Autunno, Chinaski’s Remix brightening of “The Straussian Method” occurs when he takes the rotten elements from the original version, and by a process of RetroSYNTHesis, he sets the High Energy vibe and gives us back the faith in humanity.

The French powerhouse Critical Monday, competently curated by our dear friend Bonnie Spacey (SXDNS337), reaches the "Chapter 15" of its solid journey, and this time it's a hot and passionate one. Doing the honours, Paris-based rising and shining star I Promised Mom (SXDNS323). The Dark Disco mafioso, since his first appearance in 2021, has been delivering high-quality darkness-infused cuts published on respected imprints such as JEAHMON!, Voltaire Music, Inner Shah, and Ritual, for instance. For Critical, he handed over two sharp originals – "Radiate", in collaboration with Thomas Gandey, and "She's Intoxicating" – and invited Argentinian Favio Inker for a remix mission, successfully accomplished, by the way.

The track we chose to premiere is a peak-time beast by design. Smooth arpeggiated leads prepare the terrain for what is about to come: A wild and ferocious rock-infused synth layer devoted to wreaking havoc on the dance floor. If the title celebrates an inspiring muse we will never know, but the track itself is, oh yes, intoxicating!

Up above soft, fluffy clouds danced on the skyline, passing slowly in all manner of shapes and sizes. Since she could remember she'd always imagined what it would be like to live up there, to float freely between the earth and the sun without a care in the world. If it could be a reality, she'd have no desire to come back down to solid ground, her mind and her body belonged in the clouds, where her imagination could run wild.

Having cemented her reputation as a DJ and party thrower, NYC-based producer Tony Y Not is now making waves with her productions. Over the last few years she's taken her synth-driven electro disco creations to the likes of Trampoliner, Ombra International, Critical Monday and Me Me Me, the latter of which is the home of her new EP, Send Me Up. Made up of two originals and two remixes - including the first ever from Val Budino and Ivan Berko, and another from label mate Ian Blevins - the music is a blend of cosmic synths, acid-tinged disco and euphoric melodies. 

Speaking about the release, Tony Y Not explains: "I wrote this music when the pandemic first started. Everything was up in the air for all of us and the only grounding thing to do is pour my emotions into my music. And here it is! I felt inspired by the stillness in Berlin at that time in the first lockdown. Nothing was moving and it gave an insight into how much was actually happening while everything was standing still.”
