Über 50 und kein bisschen müde:
Seit 1984 als DJ unterwegs, und den damaligen Disco-Sound noch von der Kassette abspielend, fand F. George wenig später immer mehr Interesse an elektronischeren Klängen und entdeckte in den späten 80iger HOUSE für sich!      Mitgerissen von der stetigen Entwicklung dieser Musik, konnte er nicht mehr länger innehalten und musste so Taten sprechen lassen. So fing er an, sich mit Engagement regional und überregional einen Namen als Warm-up-DJ zu machen, bis er letztendlich als Resident-DJ in der legendären „Orange Disco“ und der Bautzener „Ocean Beach Bar“ heitere Parties prägte. So war es, neben der Liebe zur Musik, auch sein Sound, der ihn letztendlich zum Mitglied des Soulfulhouse Collective machte. Immer das richtige Gespür für den Augenblick, darf man bei F. George gern etwas tiefgründiger lauschen, wenn er mit seinen Deep-, Afro- und Latin-Rhythmen den Club zum Kochen bringt!

Deep, catchy, laid-back... Dusk, spiritual father of tracks and sets - on the decks. Minimal, Tech, House. Always pushing the right button, picking the best track and raising those hands up like the ceiling can't hold us. Real life epitome of a modern techno lifestyle to some, Dusk has come a long way, baby. He began DJing in 1995, started one of eastern germany's longest running techno clubs (Kesselhaus Singwitz) in 1998 and has been active ever since. 2019 finds him just where he left, still at the decks, still kicking and still looking for those moments, when the music used to make you smile...

Tief, treibend, lässig... Dusk, Vater zahlreicher Tracks und tausender Partynächte, an den Decks. Deep... Minimal... Tech House. Immer mit der Scheibe, die die Stimmung trifft, immer mit dem Grinsen im Gesicht und der Fluppe im Mundwinkel. Als DJ-Veteran mittlerweile für viele der Inbegriff des im Realen angelangten Techno-Lifestyles. Dusk hat einen weiten Weg hinter sich, hat schon gespielt, als Techno noch das nächste große Ding war und die Dancefloors schwarz und ruppig. Als Head of Kesselhaus hat er in Singwitz einiges an Spirit rüber gerettet in die Neuzeit, spielt immer noch, ist immer noch geil. Ist immer noch mit den Fingerspitzen an den Reglern, mit dem Kopf in den Wolken, mit dem Herz auf dem Dancefloor. Nimmt Dich mit... und Augen zu ...  und fliegen, los.

DAS KÜHLHAUS
Das soziokulturelle Langzeitprojekt „Kühlhaus Görlitz“ zeigt einen Weg auf, wie leerstehende Industriegebäude, mit Hilfe von bürgerschaftlichem Engagement, sinnvoll und auf alternative Weise genutzt werden können. Hier treffen sich Menschen unterschiedlichen Alters, um gemeinsam die Ruhe zu genießen, zu lernen und zu arbeiten – eine Art Verschmelzung von Kunst, Kultur, Arbeit und Bildung mit allgemeiner Freizeitgestaltung.

Raphael Hofman is a Dutch-German,  Melodic Techno producer & DJ based in Berlin. Further known as @Monamiberlin.

Born amidst the historical charm of Aachen but destined to make his mark in the vibrant streets of Berlin, Raphael Hofman emerged as a luminary in the city's eclectic music scene. With his innovative compositions and boundary-pushing performances, he has carved a niche for himself as an artist, blending genres and defying conventions with his mesmerizing soundscapes.

Early Life and Musical Journey

Raphael's journey into the world of music began at a young age. Growing up in the culturally rich surroundings of Aachen, he was exposed to a diverse array of musical influences, ranging from classical symphonies to underground techno beats. In today’s electronic music world there are not many artists who can lay claim to a legacy like that of DJ T. Born in Dusseldorf, DJ T. (aka Thomas Koch,) re-located to Frankfurt with his family in the late 70s. During his formative years, he fell for the hypnotic grooves of disco, inspired by his parents’ record collec-tion. At the age of nine he was already completely enraptured by music and that love affair continues until this very day. He began an obsessive quest to collect music, feeding his soul with everything from Disco and Hi-Nrg, through to early Hip-Hop and Electro, Soul, Funk and R’n’B. The groovy, infectious rhythms of all those genres continue to permeate into the music he makes and plays today, providing an intrinsic part of his sound ethic. 
He took up breakdancing, before becoming a DJ, playing at private parties ini-tially before landing his first professional gigs in the late eighties. This period proved to be a pivotal moment in his life as Acid House swept through Europe, landing in Frankfurt and taking over with the launch of Sven Väth’s legendary Omen club in 1988. The first wave of House and Techno took hold and T. was there at the forefront, absorbing all the fresh new sounds from Chicago, Detroit and the UK. He picked up a residency at the infamous Music Hall and held resi-dencies at countless clubs across the city during the next 10 years from Plastik and Dorian Gray to The Box. By the end of the nineties, he was one of Frank-furt’s best-known selectors. 
In 1989 DJ T. tapped into another side of his creative energy to set up Groove Magazine. Identifying a gap in the market and fuelled by a need to satisfy his own desire for specialised music journalism, which focused on his interests – namely underground dance music. Under his leadership the magazine was launched into the public’s consciousness and he guided Groove to become one of Europe’s premier dance music publications, which it still is today. 
DJ T.’s progression continued at a pace, as he launched his own club, Monza, using the experience gained through a decade of club events and tours under the Groove Magazine banner. He also invested his skills and knowledge into con-ceiving Get Physical – a label, which remains one of the world’s best- known House and Techno platforms. Though he left in 2010, T. still occasionally A&Rs for the label, lending his uncanny ability to uncover new talent to the seminal label. 
Production-wise, he has been consistent ever since his debut release, the ‘Mon-sterbaze’ EP with Steve Bug, which was released on Poker Flat in 2000. Since then, T. has released several well-received EPs, a slew of remixes and three al-bums, ‘Boogie Playground’ in 2005, ‘The Inner Jukebox’ produced with Tho-mas Schumacher in 2009 and ‘Pleasure Principle’ in 2011. His special touch has also been employed by numerous labels to curate compilation mixes , including ‘United Under The Ball – 30 Years Of Disco’ in 2011 and ‘The House That Jack Built Vol 1 & 2’ in 2012. In 2013 he celebrated 25 years of DJing with a very personal mix compilation, followed also by ‘Body Language 15’ and col-laboration with Defected and Strictly Rhythm to celebrate the latter’s 25th anni-versary. DJ T.’s reputation for being a master selector has been cemented by these superlative collections of music, each of which has received widespread praise, often featuring many of T.’s own edits of classic tracks. 
Despite so many accolades, his passion for music remains staunch, recently making several key changes to his professional life that have inspired him to explore new terrains. With hot new releases on AUS Music, Moon Harbour, True Soul and Jackathon representing his continued to desire to push his crea-tive boundaries. 
A highly-skilled DJ and producer and an A&R with an uncanny ability to dis-cover a nurture new talent, DJ T. is a master selector and one of the industry’s most influential figures.
