This time, he presents ‘Memories’, a significant Ep composed with Demian
, a Damon's old friend and brother who sadly passed away
recently. Demian was a lovely person with a big heart and he was also a very good DJ and producer, with some great releases o

and Correspondant, to name but a few.
This ep is a tribute to De
mian, may his soul rest in peace.
We start with
‘Memories’,
a
featuring
track
vibrant square waves and perfectly harmonised electronic composition, immediately
mesmerizing the listener with its fascinating leitmotif and arpeggios, serving as a musical tes
tament to a trip beyond time.
We continue the story with the timeless “A night in 2
006”, a track that is a true explosion of emotions and flavors, an impressive weapon
full of organic instruments and nuances that has a clear objective: to make you dance.

The latest addition of Roam Recordings offers three stunning remixes of Berlin based 80s New Wave inspired band Pardon Moi. Following the success of their singles “Addiction” on Emerald & Doreen Recordings and “Inside the Outside” on Nein (which has been featured on BBC Radio) the Berlin duo Pardon Moi consisting of Thomas Freudenthal and James Brook have penned the evocative “Power to the People” along with “Touch2Much” which have been released in original form on 7” vinyl from Hoga Nord Rekords. In the “Power to the People Remixes” EP, Roam Recordings has gathered together a dream team of top remixers - Damon Jee, Markus Gibb, and Curses - who each put their own spin on the originals. Damon Jee starts it out with an an energetic and anthemic version of Power to the People that’s sure to get people on their feet. Markus Gibb moves Power to the People into slightly darker and heavier territory with exquisite production that has become his trademark. Switching gears, Curses takes on Touch2Much and keeps the 80s vibe alive with a stylish upbeat dub that’s both quirky and fun.

All three of these remixes come together in an action packed trio of tracks that will surely be a go to when looking to get the dance floor movin’.

Exclusive: Switchdance, Twofold - Entre Espadas

Pedro Martins and Marco Antão initiated Karakter Records' first label various artist EP with contributions from old friends and new musical companions. Of course, the label-honchos themselves contribute a track each, while Marco Antão alias Switchdance teamed up with Portuguese producer Twofold. The both are not only connected via their studio habits but foremost because they've shared DJ booths across the Portuguese capital over the years. With Entre Espadas the duo delivers a cosmic dark disco-ish track which has a clear handwriting and depicts the artists' preference of what music should sound like these days. Its mid-paced tempo in combination with continuously increasing synth-tones turn Entre Espadas, which means between swords, into a sharp blade of a track that smoothly cuts through the air of a dance floor to spread the best of the artists' both worlds in one track.

We are glad to welcome back an important member of the Dust & Blood’s family, our close friend 
Darlyn Vlys, for his EP “Paper Tiger”. 
Darlyn Vlys is the boss of the very promising label “Polaris” launched in 2022 and already 
supported by the biggest names on the worldwide electronic scene. 
He distills music both nostalgic and futuristic that makes his public addicted. It’s therefore not 
surprising that famous labels as Correspondant, TAU, Roam Recordings, Aeon, to name a few, 
have placed their full trust in him, especially with his hits like “Kronos” and “Behind Us” made 
in collaboration with Damon Jee, “Doble Impacto”, “Return from Delta” and more... But was it 
really necessary presenting him? 

For this new EP “Paper Tiger”, Darlyn Vlys has decided to step out of his comfort zone and the risk was worth it!
