DUSTEE - VINTAGE MIX Vol.8 (1900 Le Théâtre One Year Anniversary)

Dustee is known as  “The God Father" of the Dance music scene in Vietnam. He is renowned in the electronic music lover community for his top-notch “Vintage Mix” a well-curated mixtape series. In the nightlife scene, he has been quietly devoted to the development of the music industry in Vietnam and respected by both international and Vietnamese industry professionals.
 
As a pioneer, Dustee has constantly been acquiring and sharing his knowledge and experience with other colleagues since the introduction of EDM in Vietnam in the years 1999 and 2000.
 
With a burning desire to introduce fresh music/entertainment concepts to Vietnam, Dustee founded and successfully organized 2 seasons of "Face Off" - the first outdoor EDM festival in Vietnam in 2009, and 2010 at which Top 50 DJ Mag – Tydi played as one of the headliners. "Face Off" created significant buzz in the country and initially helped the audience get the basic concepts of EDM and outdoor music events and give a head start to the globalization of the Vietnamese music scene.
 
Moreover, Dustee has been contributing to the growth of the nightlife scene in Hanoi since the very first day. Starting with the FACE Club in 2008, then The Bank in 2012 and most recently 1900 LE THÉ TRE, Dustee always strives for innovation and goes beyond his limitations. His two most recent record label ventures are Dusted Recordings and 1900 Records which have been spotlighting talented upcoming DJs/Producers in Vietnam and creating platforms as well as a tight-knit community for both artists and music lovers alike. 
 
As a DJ, Dustee keeps experimenting with new music trends regardless of the genre from Hip Hop, Trance, Deep House to G-House, Brazilian Bass, ... His “Vintage Mix” series significantly promoted Deep House, Melodic Techno, Drum n Bass among other genres in Vietnam.
 
Besides the role of a DJ, Dustee was also involved in music productions as a producer and mentor. One of his notable projects is the making and release of Vmix with the “King of Vietnamese Electronic music” Touliver. This mix includes brand-new remixes for the top-charting songs of Toulivers featuring Vietnamese singers. VMix received enthusiastic responses from electronic music lovers and high appreciation from critics. He’s been releasing music and nurturing the next generations of artists under Dusted Recordings and 1900 Le Theatre as well.
