Hailing from Melbourne Australia, house music producer Melk crafts infectious grooves that uplift spirits with good vibes and joy!

I’d describe my genre as Old Skool, Dance Bangers, Funky Vocal House, floor fillers, love tunes with sax and piano (inspiration from Lovely Laura & Davos). 

In 1989 I started going to Sequins in Blackpool and I got a taste for the atmosphere and the tunes. In the 90’s I was a frequent Zone goer in Blackpool, Set end, the Blackburn raves, Ibiza foam parties, Hacienda, Cream. Late 1990’s & 2000’s Speed Queen and Fibre. 

Back then I danced all night, mainly on a stage or platform if I could find one, hated when the night or morning ended. Through my passion I learnt to DJ at the ripe old age of 50 so I could play my favourite tunes, and play for anyone that likes the same sort of tunes. 

It’s that feeling I used to get back in the day, if you know you know, let’s just say when everything was pure. For me it’s that nostalgia when I didn’t have any responsibilities, no phones, just the music and love 🤣🎹🎷👌🏽

The Dustitutes hail from sunny Blackpool in the North West of England and consist of Joe Fernandez and Jamie Clossick, both of whom have clocked up an impressive amount of years experience both performing live and recording with some of the top artists in the worlds finest studios playing all genres of music.
