And he told her a story before turning into dust once again.
He told a story about human who doomed the monsterkind to die one by one in an endless loop.
He tried to fight the human but he was not strong enough.
The human just kept coming back. The fight was meaningless.
And then he got an idea. To overpower human by beginning a killing streak of his own. 
It was awful. But the more he killed the stronger he got. 

* and belive me. i do not care about dying at this point. 
* i've died so many times that the concept of death itself is meaningless to me now.
* ...
* now its YOUR time to make a choice.
* you can ignore everything i said and be killed by the human soon or you can finish the job and carry my burden.

* But... That's awful!

* it doesn't matter. i will come back.
* the question is... will i woke up and see the bad ending once again or will you make a good one?
