Hi all! I composed this track almost 10 ys ago (just like https://soundcloud.com/martimedia/unreachable). I re-recorded the song and I had so much fun doing that.. Please share what you think/feel when listening to this song!

This song is about that moment in life when you realize you should wake up and be yourself.. and it feels like magic when certain beautiful 'things', 'people', 'situations' or 'chances' suddenly appear on your path. Eh, instead of calling that 'Fate', it was you just being eh.. you! Sometimes it's just a bit hard to see that ;-)

It has the feel of an ancient Celtic or old English melody but is subtly combined with haunted and tragic synthesized sounds and a strangely modern sounding drum performance.

"Walking in the Dark" is the February installment of my One Song, One Month challenge.  This is dedicated to all of those who walk in the dark, those who have walked with them, and those who have walked with me.  It is inspired by portions of Robert Benson's book, "Living Prayer."  He writes of a time when a friend was in great need, and called him in the middle of the night, and how he "called me in the middle of the night when his life was coming apart because he knew that I had been broken too."
