- "Fantaisies" (for professional dancers only)

There is little overlap between them, mostly between: *
. . A) MiddleLane, Superdance
and
. . B) all other series

* Increasingly there is some overlap between "Calm & Steady" and "Funky-Dub-Trap", and between a bunch of others (Dark, Minimal, ...). I'm trying to keep it to the minimum, the overlap, tracks finding themselves in more than one playlist

Jessica sighed, thinking: So our Missionaria Protectiva even planted religious safety valves all through this hell hole. Ah, well . . . it'll help, and that's what it was meant to do. 

She said: "The seeress who brought you the legend, she gave it under the binding of karama and ijaz, the miracle and the inimitability of the prophecy — this I know. Do you wish a sign?" 

His nostrils flared in the moonlight. "We cannot tarry for the rites," he whispered . 

Jessica recalled a chart Kynes had shown her while arranging emergency escape routes. How long ago it seemed. There had been a place called "Sietch Tabr" on the chart and beside it the notation: "Stilgar." 

"Perhaps when we get to Sietch Tabr," she said. 

The revelation shook him, and Jessica thought: If only he knew the tricks we use! She must've been good, that Bene Gesserit of the Missionaria Protectiva. These Fremen are beautifully prepared to believe in us. 

Stilgar shifted uneasily. "We must go now." 

She nodded, letting him know that they left with her permission."

I’ve meant to post something here several times over the past few months, but haven't been able to find the words...or strangely the time. It has been long, long grinding days of work. In fact, I think I have never worked harder in all my life (no complaints...happy to still have a job). Seemingly no time to pick up OBE's guitar. 

Last weekend was July 4 here; on the Friday, I sat in my apt and opened my window looking out into the darkness of the city.  It was curiously quiet given all the numbskulls setting off fireworks all hours of the day and night for the past few weeks. Noone can sleep. 

And then there has been the constant constant sirens. It has been the soundtrack of 2020. Its those sirens I hate the most. 

My wife has lost a dear, dear friend (not much older than me). So many mothers and fathers, grandparents gone. With this disease, no one gets to say goodbye. It is horrible.

Well all of this was on my mind as i sat in front of my window and starting thinking of friends and family. A curiously silent street. And that is when a song came; I guess it is for my family. And it is for my friends, some of which I have inexcusably neglected (you know who you are!). I hope all the brilliant musicians I have met here on SC are safe and well.


 ... Not much else to say, except kudos nd awe for all those saving lives in NY hospitals and around the world. Day after day after day. I cannot imagine what it has been like for them. And then all those other people, bus drivers, subway crew, supermarket cashiers, u name it,,,everyone who was stubbornly determined to ensure that life went on while I cowered in my apt. FUCK YOU COVID!  So the song posted here is also for them.

Genocide, June 2025:
Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
