We love a V/A project here at Born On Road. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase the depth of talent in our scene – a scene that continues to bubble with creativity year on year. Our latest venture is no exception. Introducing On Road Vol 1, our brand new V/A album we are gassed to launch. We’ve already given you two heaters from it in Diagnostix & Dread’s “Make Some Noise” and Selecta J-Man and Spyda’s “No Sound Can Test”, and now we’re ready to unleash the rest of Vol 1. Featuring a heap of dons in the scene, including Aries, Jenks, Bennie, DJ Gaw and Carasel, this one’s a real celebration of the friends who’ve been on road with us over the years, and the eclectic sound we love to push as a collective.

Lil Richie grew up chasing the buzz of illegal raves — the kind that go until sunrise. The music had me hooked, so I saved up for my first decks and practised like mad. Before long, I landed my first gigs at Raindance and Roast, and soon became a regular there.

I started out spinning soul, funk, and house, but eventually found my home in the sounds I’m known for today — drum & bass, jungle, hip hop, and RnB. These days, I’m lucky enough to play to massive crowds at some of the best parties out there — from KnowledgeMag and Planet Wax to Ibiza and beyond.

I still love to drop an old skool set every now and then for the heads who know. 🎶
